From single-use disposables to fully integrated systems to precision components, our teams work as an extension of yours to solve patient needs and improve lives worldwide.\nThe Medical Device Assembler III will be responsible for maintaining the overall manufacturing process in their assigned area as well as monitoring of product quality and output yields for their line; assists with ongoing training and development and accountability of all team members; setting an example for the line employees while creating high functioning teams.\nDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nWorks as part of a team to assemble parts.\nSorts and places material or items on tables, racks or bins.\nAssembles small parts manually under a microscope.\nCleans assembled parts and places in protective bags or boxes.\nPackages assembled parts \nPicks up, moves and sorts small parts.\nVerifies raw materials and lot numbers.\nBuilds product by following all processes, and completing other assigned work, while meeting manufacturing goals and metrics.\nRotates as necessary and works well with all group members, both within the team and cross-functionally.\nMaintain accurate records, including training records, and required paperwork. \nPerforms other related duties as assigned by management.\nReport defective material or questionable condition to the department supervisor. \nContribute and adhere to safety and quality process and procedures. \nCommunicate status of operation in a timely manner to management including any safety and/or process problems.\nMaintain a clean and safe work area\nRequirements\n High school diploma or general education degree (GED)\n2-4 years’ experience or high-quality output or previous medical device assembly experience. \nPrevious experience in manufacturing, performing inspections, and operating equipment.\nMust be friendly, courteous, service-oriented, and flexible and enjoy working with a variety of staff.\nMust be detail-oriented and work effectively under pressure while meeting all applicable deadlines.\nMust be able to work independently and productively with minimum supervision; work well under pressure; able to manage multiple projects.\nAbility to read blue prints\nBenefits\nHealth Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision)\nRetirement Plan with Company Match\nPaid Time Off, Personal Days, AND Birthday Holiday!\nLifetime Membership Subsidy and Wellness Resources\nLife Insurance (Basic, Voluntary & AD&D)\nFamily Leave (Maternity, Paternity)\nShort-Term & Long-Term Disability\nTaco Thursdays!!!\nNextern is an equal opportunity employer.
