In this hands-on role, you’ll help ensure the quality and reliability of medical device components by performing incoming, in-process, and final inspections throughout the manufacturing process.\nYou’ll work with a variety of inspection and measurement tools, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and support quality investigations and continuous improvement efforts. If you’re detail-oriented, organized, and enjoy working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where quality truly matters, this could be a great opportunity to grow your career with NPX.\nRequirements\nQUALIFICATIONS\nEducation: High School Diploma or Equivalent\nExperience: Minimum 6 months in medical device manufacturing - Ideally, 1+ year of experience.\nSkills:\n·Ability to read and interpret sampling and inspection plans\n·Good organizational and communication\n·Basic mathematics\n·Detail oriented and organized\n·General computer operations (e.g. Excel, Word)\nRESPONSIBILITIES\n· Support and perform inspection and testing of materials and products from incoming material through final assembly, ensuring\ncompliance with specifications and quality standards\n· Conduct visual, dimensional, and/or functional inspections of raw materials, in-process assemblies, and finished products in\naccordance with approved specifications and applicable quality standards\n· Perform duties with minimal to moderate supervision\n· Utilize measurement tools and equipment (e.g., pin gages, calipers, MicroVu, laser micrometers, pull testers) to verify physical\ndimensions and product attributes\n· Verify that all measurement equipment is within current calibration status\n· Identify, document, and segregate nonconforming materials\n· Complete quality records, reports, and documentation in accordance with GDP (Good Documentation Practices)\n· Apply and follow established sampling plans\n· Participate in problem-solving activities and contribute to process and product evaluations for continuous improvement\n· Provide data, analysis, and support to cross-functional teams as needed\n· Support site objectives related to safety, quality, delivery, cost, and inventory\n· Achieve assigned goals and performance objectives\n· Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned\nBenefits\nHealth Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision)\nRetirement Plan with Company Match\nPaid Time Off, Personal Days, AND Birthday Holiday!\nLifetime Membership Subsidy and Wellness Resources\nLife Insurance (Basic, Voluntary & AD&D)\nFamily Leave (Maternity, Paternity)\nShort-Term & Long-Term Disability\nTaco Thursdays!!!\nNextern is an equal opportunity employer.
