ensuring optimal database security, reliability, and availability. \nKey Responsibilities\nDesign and maintain database schemas based on business and technical requirements.\n\nDevelop and optimize stored procedures, SQL queries, and scripts to enhance application performance.\n\nDesign, build, and maintain end-to-end data pipelines for structured and semi-structured data.\n\nReverse-engineer SSIS packages to analyze and improve data flows and transformations.\n\nLead data migration projects, including transitions from SSIS/Informatica to cloud-native data pipeline frameworks.\n\nUtilize Databricks for data processing, transformation, and integration with relational databases and data lakes.\n\nWork with standard data models (e.g., OMOP, PCORnet) to build compliant and efficient solutions.\n\nAdminister SQL Server databases, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.\n\nUtilize DBaaS solutions (Azure, AWS) for scalable database management.\n\nImplement and manage backup, restore, and disaster recovery strategies.\n\nMonitor and troubleshoot database and pipeline performance, resolving bottlenecks proactively.\n\nPerform DBA tasks including configuration, patching, and migrations.\n\nCollaborate with development, operations, analytics, and data engineering teams to meet project deadlines.\n\nAutomate the creation, publishing, and scheduling of application reports.\n\nSkills, Knowledge, and Experience\n5+ years of professional experience in database design, development, and administration.\n\nStrong expertise in SQL Server and PostgreSQL, with working knowledge of MySQL.\n\nAdvanced SQL scripting and query optimization skills.\n\nHands-on experience with data pipelines, including design, orchestration, and monitoring.\n\nProficiency in SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services).\n\nExperience with Azure Data Factory for building and managing ETL/ELT workflows.\n\nWorking experience with Databricks for large-scale data processing and transformation.\n\nExperience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB) is a plus.\n\nUnderstanding of Data Lake / Lakehouse architectures is an advantage.\n\nFamiliarity with healthcare data standards is a plus.\n\nStrong problem-solving and analytical skills with high attention to detail.\n\nExperience working with international clients (USA/Europe) preferred.\n\nStrong interpersonal, organizational,
