The Senior Engineering Manager / Analyst provides senior-level engineering leadership and analytical support to the Tethered Aerostat Radar System (TARS) Program. This position oversees technical project coordination, engineering analysis, and system integration activities to ensure the program meets operational and performance standards. The role includes interfacing with logistics, program management, and government engineering teams to ensure system readiness, compliance, and performance improvements.\nDuties include but are not limited to:\nProvide expert engineering oversight and guidance for systems integration and technical operations related to TARS.\nReview and analyze system requirements, technical specifications, and engineering documentation.\nDevelop and maintain technical project schedules and support engineering milestone reviews.\nLead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for technical issues in coordination with field teams.\nCoordinate engineering support for logistics, sustainment, and modernization efforts.\nSupport configuration management and verification of system design changes.\nPrepare engineering reports, data packages, and briefings for internal and external stakeholders.\nEnsure compliance with applicable DHS/CBP, DoD, and industry engineering standards.\nRequired Education, Experience and Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in engineering, systems engineering, or a closely related discipline.\nMaster’s preferred\nProject Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.\nA minimum of 15 years of experience in the following:\nDeep understanding of systems engineering and integration best practices.\nExperience with aerostat systems, radar, ISR platforms, or related defense technologies.\nProficiency in engineering tools, technical documentation, and modeling/simulation\nAbility to analyze complex technical data and translate into actionable plans.\nStrong project management and coordination skills.\nExcellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint.\nPositive adjudication from a CBP Background Investigation.\nPosition requires some
