We are looking for an outcome- (as opposed to output-) oriented professional.\n\nResponsibilities: \nBuild a high-performing engineering team, including hiring, onboarding, coaching, performance improvement, and career progression of the engineers.\nAttract and retain the best talent.\nDrive and lead the engineering processes, architecture, and technical roadmap within the team in alignment with the Engineering leadership team.\nManage the technical debt, security, quality, and technical decisions in an efficient and structured manner.\nEvangelize, drive, and continuously improve our agile methodologies for software development to continue building our product iteratively and in a lean way.\nInstill Nexthink values as a building foundation for your team\nWork with Product Management and the UX team to help write effective user stories, to build an effective product roadmap with your technical inputs and ensure smooth and close collaboration with the engineers from discovery to delivery.\nEnsure coordination and full alignment between different agile teams across multiple locations, as well as cross-department collaboration, such as Marketing, sales, HR, or customer success.\nAbility to contribute technically within the team as required by bringing your experience in architectural decisions, code reviews, prototypes, and codebase.\nOwn problems from end-to-end, managing complexity, and engaging directly with stakeholders to understand and minimize any impact on the business.\nFoster a culture of integrity, mutual respect, and collaborative decision-making.\n\nRequirements: \nB. S. or Master's in Computer Science.\nStrong knowledge around the technology stack (like Java, Kafka, Postgres, Clickhouse, TypeScript, JavaScript, React, AWS, and CI/CD) and processes for full-stack development, microservices, and cloud architecture and deployment.\nPrevious experience with AI technologies (ML, NLP, LLM) is a plus.\nPrevious experience and excellent track record in a similar leadership role, building from scratch and leading engineering teams in an Agile environment.\nExperience dealing with internationally distributed teams will be highly valued.\nAbility to work in a multicultural and hyper-growth-paced environment, managing effectively cultural gaps and embracing change.\nPrior experience as a software engineer or architect with an excellent understanding of coding and software architectures and the ability to discuss technical details and provide insightful inputs.\nExperience collaborating with the product managers and engineers to align product and engineering roadmaps to generate the highest business value\nExperience in leading, managing, coaching, and mentoring software engineers towards delivering timely and high-quality software while growing them to the next level.\nStrong get things done' mindset, willing to do what it takes to get concrete outcomes.\nProfound know-how in agile practices and frameworks.\nTeamwork and
