This will include carrier, fiber, and all commercial and residential products offered by NextLink Broadband.\nProvide Single Point of Contact duties for high-risk & service impacting events.\nOpen and refer Trouble Tickets to the appropriate level of support.\nEscalate network problems both internally and externally.\nInterface with customers, engineers, vendors and technicians to resolve trouble reports.\nSkills:\nCandidate should also be highly motivated, very organized, and can multi-task.\nEducation and Experience:\nAssociate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from one-year College or technical school; or two year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.\nExperience with routers and switches\nSNMP Experience, Basic Routing Experience, Basic Wireless experience\nNice to Have:CCNA or Network+ (or equivalent are desirable, not required)\nWork Environment/Hazards:\nWorking conditions primarily inside an office environment\nThe noise level in the work environment is usually moderate\nHigh level of interaction with external/internal clients\nPhysical Demands:\nAble to frequently move, transport, positions objects of 50 pounds or more\nStationary position for 8-10 hours a day\nTo perform this job successfully, the employee is frequently required to remain in a stationary position.
