Outside Sales Representative

We are a Hudson Oaks, Texas-based Internet Service Provider (ISP) delivering High Speed Internet and Voice Services throughout multiple states to residential, business, K-12 Education and government customers. The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for residential sales activities from lead generation through close, primarily through door-to-door prospecting. This position is responsible for meeting sales quotas, maintaining accurate sales records, and contributing to customer satisfaction, revenue generation, and long-term account growth in alignment with Nextlink’s vision and values.

• 5+ years of outside sales experience
• Door-to-door sales experience preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• High level of personal integrity
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate positively at all levels
• Professional and flexible approach
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct daily door-to-door residential sales visits and/or calls
• Generate new leads and opportunities through direct prospecting
• Conduct in-home presentations explaining Nextlink’s products, services, and company values
• Follow up with residential prospects to generate additional revenue
• Prepare quotes and coordinate installation of products and services
• Enter and maintain leads, opportunities, contracts, emails, quotes, and pending installs in Billmax and PandaDoc
• Maintain accurate daily sales activity spreadsheets
• Track job deployment and customer billing to ensure accuracy
• Work closely with Infrastructure and Dispatch to provide customers with installation and deployment timelines
• Build and maintain sales reports tracking customer and job activity
• Work with the Vice President of Revenue Generation as needed
• Plan, prioritize, and organize daily responsibilities
• Attend training, conferences, and meetings as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Compensation

• Base Salary: $35,000 annually
• Monthly Installed Sales Quota: $3,000
• Commission Cap: None

Working Conditions & Travel

• This position requires significant travel, with initial travel estimated at approximately 80%.
• Travel requirements may increase as Nextlink expands into additional markets.
• Regular door-to-door prospecting and customer visits are required.
• A valid driver's license and clean driving record are required.
