You will act as a key escalation point for critical issues, drive resolution of high-severity incidents, and contribute to improving system performance, automation, and operational excellence across data center and office environments.\n\nWhat You'll Achieve In This Role:\nLead resolution of critical incidents and complex infrastructure issues\nEnsure high availability, performance, and security of Linux and storage systems\nStrengthen operational maturity through process adherence and documentation\nDrive automation and efficiency across infrastructure management\nAct as a technical mentor and escalation point for L1 and L2 teams\n\nRoles And Responsibilities:\nPerform advanced configuration, administration, and troubleshooting of Linux systems, storage, backup, hardware, and applications\nProvide technical support and guidance to L1, L2 teams and clients across communication channels\nBe available for 24x7 operational support in rotational shifts\nHandle escalations, severity incidents, and critical projects\nRespond to and resolve incidents, requests, changes, and problems within SLA\nWork on service improvement plans (SIPs) and assigned initiatives\nEnsure adherence to defined processes and operational procedures\nMaintain high availability and uptime of infrastructure systems\nPrepare handover checklists, plans of action (POA), shift reports, SOPs, and KEDB documentation\nEnsure all activities are logged and updated in ticketing systems\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to drive faster resolutions and improvements\n\nRequired Qualifications:\n8 to 12 years of experience in Linux System Administration & Storage\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (preferred)\nStrong experience working in enterprise or data center environments\nProven ability to handle critical incidents and escalations\n\nPrimary Skills (Must Have):\nStrong expertise in Linux OS and infrastructure management\nIn-depth knowledge of networking concepts: DNS, DHCP, SSH, TCP/IP, SMTP, IP, Iptables/Firewalld\nExperience with web servers and load balancers: Apache, Nginx, HAProxy\nAdvanced troubleshooting and analytical skills (logs analysis, event correlation)\nStrong knowledge of storage technologies: LVM, RAID, SAN, NAS, iSCSI\nProficiency in scripting and automation: Python, Shell scripting, Ansible, Terraform\nExperience with containerization and orchestration: Docker, Containers, Kubernetes\nHands-on experience with Kubernetes for efficient and scalable container orchestration\nHands-on experience with backup technologies: Bacula, Commvault, Veeam\n\nPreferred Skills:\nFamiliarity with monitoring and observability tools: Prometheus, Grafana\nExposure to provisioning tools like Foreman and MAAS\nUnderstanding of virtualization platforms: KVM, Proxmox\nBasic knowledge of AI model deployment and fine-tuning\nExperience in driving automation and infrastructure optimization initiatives\n\nWhy This Role is a Unique Opportunity at Neysa:\n\nThis role offers the opportunity to work on complex, large-scale infrastructure systems that power AI-driven platforms.
