To be successful in this role, you will; Go Beyond, Be Outstandingly Outstanding and Play as a Team.\n\nOur nurseries are located in Buckhurst Hill and Upminster. You'll choose your preferred base nursery, with opportunities to support other N Family Club nurseries across the Essex when needed.\nKey responsibilities and tasks:\nWork in partnership with the Nursery team to provide high standards of cleaning to ensure the smooth running of the nursery each day;\nBe welcoming to children, parents, staff and visitors at all times;\nEnsure all plants both internally and externally are watered and well kept\nEnsure all communal areas, including the welcome areas and parent areas are well presented, attractive and inviting at all times;\nReport any damage or faulty equipment immediately to the nursery management team and remove it if necessary; \nMaintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene of all bathrooms and nappy changing areas throughout the day; \nReport to the front of house any cleaning provisions required (within budget);\nCarry out daily laundry duties as required;\nEnsure cleaning products and materials are appropriate for a nursery environment and stored and used in line with COSHH guidelines;\nTake in deliveries and distribute through the nursery;\nPromote good hygiene standards throughout the nursery, encouraging good hygiene alongside the nursery team.\nResponsible for always adhering to the company's H&S policy: “Statement of Intent\"\nSupport the kitchen with cleaning duties in the absence of the kitchen team.\nYou may occasionally be required to support our Educators in the rooms which will require interacting with the children and safeguarding children at all times\nExperience:\nPrevious experience in a cleaning or housekeeping role; \nGood Knowledge of COSHH and understanding of Health and Safety best practices.\n Personal attributes:\nA passionate and caring person who loves working alongside children and families;\nConscious of the use of hazardous materials in the nursery and how to work with them safely; \nAbility to work in a fast paced and busy environment\nPositive outlook (someone who always sees the glass as half full)\nBags of drive and motivation with a ‘make it happen’ attitude\nA love for customer service (you want to make people happy)\nHigh energy brought to every task you take on, and a solutions driven approach to problems.\nThe N Advantage package\n Competitive pay - £14.81ph - £15.09ph (including 12.07% holiday entitlement), based on experience and dedication.\n Flexible hours that suit your lifestyle - This role is offered on a Casual Working Agreement (0-hour contract), giving you the flexibility to choose shifts that work for you.\nDaily Perks - Complimentary lunch and drinks every day.\nReferral Bonuses - Earn up to £1,000 for every friend you refer who joins N Family Club.\nSocials & wellbeing - Annual parties like ourFestive Winter Party and Summer BBQ, team events, and our Wellbeing Week.\nAmazing discounts - save on groceries, shopping, fitness and more \nNursery Benefits - exemption from our nursery joining & acceptance fees\nFlexibility to join permanently - If you choose to join us permanently, you may receive a welcome bonus of up to £1,000!\n\nWhy N Family Club?\nAt N Family Club, we’re reimagining early years education - and we want you to be a part of it.
