Further information is available at www.nfigroup.com.\nPOSITION SUMMARY:\nThe MAC (Moves, Adds, and Changes) Technician plays a key role in supporting employees across NFI Group by coordinating and completing technology-related workspace and equipment changes. This position is responsible for the installation, configuration, testing, and deployment of computers, monitors, peripherals, telephones, mobile devices, software, and network connectivity to ensure employees have the tools they need to work effectively. The MAC Technician maintains accurate asset records, supports technology relocations and upgrades, and delivers efficient, customer-focused service while minimizing disruption to business operations across multiple locations.\nWHAT YOU WILL DO:\nCoordinate and complete employee and workspace technology moves, additions, and changes (MACs) across NFI Group locations.\nInstall, configure, relocate, test, and support computers, monitors, docking stations, printers, telephones, mobile devices, software, and related peripherals.\nEnsure workstations, network connections, telephony services, and required applications are fully operational and ready for end users.\nCollaborate with Helpdesk, Infrastructure, Networking, Facilities, Human Resources, vendors, managers, and site contacts to deliver seamless technology deployments and office moves.\nManage and update service requests, incidents, schedules, and documentation through approved IT service management tools.\nProvide deskside technical support, troubleshoot installation and deployment issues, and escalate complex problems as required.\nMaintain accurate IT asset records, including equipment assignments, locations, inventory levels, warranties, and lifecycle status.\nSupport equipment staging, storage, transportation, reuse, repair, and disposal processes while ensuring compliance with company standards.\nFollow established security, change management, hardware deployment, and software licensing procedures.\nCreate and maintain technical documentation, deployment checklists, and workstation records while promoting safe, organized, and efficient work practices.\nRequirements\nPost-secondary education in Information Technology or a related field\n0-3 years of experience in IT support, desktop support, or a similar technical role\nValid driver's license and ability to travel between Winnipeg locations\nStrong customer service, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills\nWorking knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365, mobile devices, printers, telephony systems, and basic networking\nExperience with IT service management, asset management, and remote support tools\nBasic network cabling and PC/peripheral troubleshooting experience\nUnderstanding of IT asset management, inventory control, and data security practices\nAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and work in office, production, and warehouse environment \nA+ and/or ITIL certifications are considered an asset\nBenefits\nExtended Healthcare Plan (Medical, Disability, Dental & Vision)\nRPP -
