Ōrākei Marae is our cultural hub.\nTe Kahu Tōpuni o Tuperiri describes the protective reach of our ancestor across our rohe.\nPurpose of the role\nAs our IT Support Analyst, you’ll help keep our people connected, productive and supported by providing reliable day-to-day technology assistance across the organisation. You’ll troubleshoot technical issues, support our systems and devices, and work closely with kaimahi to make technology easy to use and accessible. You’ll also contribute to maintaining a secure and effective IT environment and help improve the overall technology experience for our people.\nWhat you'll do\nProvide friendly and responsive IT support to kaimahi.\n\nTroubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, system and connectivity issues.\n\nSet up devices, email addresses, user accounts and applications.\n\nSupport the onboarding and offboarding of kaimahi from an IT perspective.\n\nManage and respond to IT support requests, escalating more complex issues when required.\n\nSupport Microsoft 365 applications and other business systems used across the organisation.\n\nMaintain accurate IT documentation, equipment records and support information.\n\nAssist with system updates, upgrades and technology improvements.\n\nSupport good cyber security practices and help keep organisational information secure.\n\nWork with internal teams and external IT providers to resolve issues and deliver improvements.\n\nWhat we're looking for\nExperience providing technology support or working in a customer-focused support environment\n\nStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.\n\nGood working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows and common workplace technology.\n\nExperience setting up and supporting laptops, mobile devices, applications and user accounts.\n\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence supporting people with different levels of technical knowledge.\n\nGood organisation skills and the ability to manage multiple support requests and priorities.\n\nAn understanding of cyber security and good IT practices.\n\nA proactive approach and willingness to learn, improve processes and share knowledge.\n\nSomeone who enjoys working collaboratively and building positive relationships across the organisation.\n\nValues and Competencies\nTo be successful in this role, we recognise that the following values & competencies are critical for kaimahi/employees to flourish at Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei:\nManaakitanga\n\nRespect\n\nResilience\n\nWhānau outcome focused\n\nCollaboration\n\nCultural Understanding\n\nRequirements & Checks\nApplicants must have the right to work in New Zealand.\nPlease be aware in applying for this role, you may be required to undergo the following pre-employment checks:\nPolice Vetting Report\n\nQualification Check\n\nApply Now\nIf you're interested, please click the 'Apply for this job' button at the top or bottom of the page.
