If we are to find a suitable candidate, NHBC have the right to close the job early with no prior notice.\nJob summary:\nProcurement and outsourcing are integral to NHBC’s business model and the successful delivery of its trading activities. The Procurement Business Partner (BP) will provide comprehensive, coordinated procurement services to NHBC for the category related goods and services in alignment with NHBC’s Procurement and Supplier Management Policies and Processes.\nThe BP will act as a central point of expertise for all matters relating to procurement of the relevant category/s and as an advocate for Procurement, promoting the policy, process and best practice whilst ensuring regulatory compliance is met.\nThe BP will work collaboratively with key stakeholders to develop and deliver category strategies for over £6.5M spend per annum, across a supply base of c.150 suppliers, meeting the needs of the internal customer whilst ensuring compliance with NHBC’s Outsourcing and Third-Party Risk Management Framework Policies and Procedures.\nWhat you’ll be doing\nEngage with stakeholders at all levels to deliver category strategies aligned to business objectives\nLead end-to-end procurement processes from supplier due diligence through to contract management\nEnsure supplier compliance and manage risk throughout the contract lifecycle\nSource goods and services efficiently using e-Procurement tools to achieve best value\nProvide expert procurement advice and deliver clear reporting (MI, KPIs, compliance, benefits)\nBuild strong relationships with internal teams and suppliers to support collaboration and performance\nSupport supplier relationship management and drive value through partnerships\nWork with Legal, IT Security, and Risk teams to ensure regulatory compliance and risk management\nConduct market research to identify opportunities for efficiency and innovation\nDrive continuous improvement using procurement best practices\nPromote sustainable, ethical, and socially responsible initiatives across the supply base\nWhat we’re looking for\n'In-direct' Category management \nStakeholder management/engagement \nSound knowledge of contract law\nWorked in an FCA/PRA regulated organisation\nWhat we offer\nOur benefits package includes:\n27 days annual leave + bank holidays\nholiday purchase scheme\nenhanced pension scheme (up to 10.5%)\nlife assurance\nsubsidised private medical insurance\nemployee discounts platform\ntwo days volunteer leave\nenhanced maternity, paternity, adoption leave and pay for all new parents\n+ many more!\nWho we are\nAt NHBC, we pride ourselves on being truly unique.
