Your friendly demeanor and reliable service will ensure residents receive the medical assessment and care necessary for their rehabilitation and well being.\nKey Responsibilities\nSafely drives residents to medical appointments, outings, and other destinations according to assigned schedule\nAdheres to traffic laws, regulations, and facility policies to ensure the safety of passengers and others on the road\nAssists residents into and out of vehicle\nSecures passengers’ wheelchairs to restraining devices to stabilize wheelchairs while driving\nCommunicate effectively with residents, families, and staff to coordinate transportation schedules and ensure resident needs are met\nCommunicates with administrative staff regularly to receive instructions or report dealys and disruptions of service\nMaintains the cleanliness and safety of the vehicle, performing routine inspections, refueling and immediately reporting maintenance needs\nKeeps records of trips and behavior of passengers\nIf you're a reliable and compassionate individual with an excellent driving history and passion for helping others, we would like to meet you!
