Do you enjoy delivering engaging, interactive training that inspires confidence and builds practical skills?\nAre you looking for an opportunity to develop your career within a growing national training team?\nIf so, we would love to hear from you!\nRole Summary\nWe have an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic and motivated Academy Trainers to join the NHS Professionals Academy.\nOur Academy plays a vital role in supporting the healthcare workforce by delivering high-quality, accessible and engaging education and training programmes.\nAs an Academy Trainer, you will help equip healthcare professionals with the knowledge, confidence and essential skills they need to deliver safe, effective and compassionate care.\nYou will deliver a range of Statutory and Mandatory training programmes in addition to our growing commercial offerings (non clinical), both face-to-face and online, while contributing to the development of innovative learning resources and continuous improvement of our training provision.\nThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive, forward-thinking team where your ideas, expertise and professional development will be valued.\nAs an Academy Trainer, you will:\nDeliver engaging, inclusive and high-quality training across a range of Statutory and Mandatory subjects, including Basic Life Support, Conflict Resolution, Patient Moving and Handling, and Breakaway techniques.\nDeliver face-to-face training predominantly within your designated region, typically 3-4 days per week, alongside online training delivery.\nCreate a positive, supportive learning environment, adapting your delivery to meet the diverse needs of learners.\nAssess learner understanding and practical competence, providing constructive feedback to support development and patient safety.\nContribute to the design, development and continuous improvement of training materials and educational resources.\nParticipate in quality assurance activities, including teaching observations, learner feedback reviews and training evaluations.\nMaintain accurate training records and uphold the Academy’s standards, policies and procedures.\nWork collaboratively with colleagues, clinical educators and operational teams to ensure a consistent, high-quality learner experience.\nTake an active role in your own continuing professional development, with dedicated non-delivery time to support learning, content development and improvement activities.\nExperience in healthcare education, emergency services, teaching or workplace learning would be advantageous.
