Supports the organization’s supply chain strategy. Plans, directs, and monitors all activities in the warehouse.Essential Functions\nResponsible for Warehouse Management System (WMS)\nUnderstands the WMS database structure.\nPerforms advanced configuration of the WMS.\nLeads company initiatives to improve WMS functionality.\nResponsible for building and/or maintaining a safe work culture.\nCoordinates technical support for site or network operations and systems.\nServes as site lead for systems implementations and modifications.\nOversees activities of warehouse operations including training, shipping, receiving, inventory, and safety.\nBuild a positive work environment.\nManages all aspects of inventory.\nManage and schedule labor appropriately to meet demands and goals.\nOversee shipping and receiving discrepancies, RMA’s.\nTraining of forklift operators, administer road tests and certification.\nEstablish operational procedures for activities such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, - handling and disposition of materials, and keeping warehouse inventory current.\nCollaborate with department heads to ensure coordination of warehouse activities with activities of other functions such as production, sales, records control and purchasing.\nDirect salvage of damaged or unused material.\nManage month end inventory and cycle counts to ensure physical inventories are reconciled timely.\nEnsure maintenance of clean, orderly and safe warehouse.\nParticipate in planning personnel safety and plant protection activities.\nRegular and predictable attendance is an essential function of the job.\nPlease note this job description is not designed to contain a comprehensive list of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
