The Maintenance Technician performs troubleshooting and repair of all\nproduction equipment including injection molders, blow molders, fillers/cappers, labelers, case packers,\nconveyors, palletizers, and stretch wrappers. The Maintenance Technician also performs\ntroubleshooting and repair of facilities and auxiliary equipment, such as chillers, air compressors,\nReverse Osmosis, other water filtration equipment and general maintenance of the plant. The\nMaintenance Technician works directly with machine Operators, Supervisors, Preventative Maintenance\nMechanics and Sr. Maintenance Technicians to resolve mechanical issues that arise during shift. The\nMaintenance Technician proposes solutions to complex and reoccurring problems on production\nequipment to Sr. Mechanics and Management to resolve issues.\nEssential Functions\nTroubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems using schematics, technical\ndrawings and testing equipment\nRepair equipment, fixtures, systems, conveyors, and other equipment at facility\nModify, lubricate, diagnose, and operate equipment in accordance with Niagara’s defined processes\nMaintain industrial control systems\nWork independently and with other team members to complete repairs in a safe and timely manner\nMay fill in for production operator as needed\nCreate and report repairs throughout shift. Experience in Position\n4 Years - Experience managing people/projects\n\n*experience may include a combination of work experience and education\nDemonstrated ability to communicate effectively and resolve issues across multiple departments\nBasic experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook\nEffective communication of issues and solutions to cross-functional team members\nAbility to read and interpret schematics: electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic\nSkilled in the use of shop equipment such as hydraulic and mechanical presses, bench grinder, drill press, mill and lathe, and assorted power tools\nProficient skills with precision measuring equipment, such as calipers, dial indicators, bore gauges, and depth gauges\nWillingness to be a technical leader and trainer within a specific area of plant or machine center\nWill need own toolbox and basic tools\nPreferred Qualifications:6 Years- Experience in Field or similar manufacturing environment\n6 Years -
