The team member will operate a forklift or work with the LGV (Laser Guided Vehicle) and handling system. This includes checking outbound trailers prior to loading, monitoring all LGV activity in the warehouse, following SOPs to maintain inventory accuracy, prepping loads for cross country shipments and customer requirements, while maintaining a clean, and safe work environment.Essential Functions\nReceives all inbound orders into WMS: spring water, resin, corrugated materials, film, labels, UPS deliveries, Federal Express deliveries, water transfer as needed\nRebuilds damaged pallets prior to restock\nProcesses RMA’s\nConsolidates finished goods storage for maximum storage capabilities\nIdentifies, reports and observes quality issues with finished goods and RMS\nValidates new SKU’s in WMS to ensure proper LGV storage and handling\nCorrects LGV alarms\nMonitors Loads\nUnloads finished goods and raw material deliveries utilizing a forklift\nMaintains pallet storage area; offloads pallets from trailers and stage for LGV’s to pick up\nCorrects product spills\nManually pulls pallets from production as needed\nSupplies production with non-inventory items (glue, bags, labels etc.)\nAir Bag Loads\nClears up blocked locations in WMS\nMay be required to operate a forklift when needed\nFacilitates the flow of information between logistics, production and sales to ensure timely and accurate service to customer base\nTests and monitors resin and spring water\nCoordinates preload activities including inspecting trailers to ensure all loads are completed on time\nChecks in trucks and communicates loading instructions to forklift drivers\nProvides correct loading document/bills of lading and truck seals upon leaving the facility\nMaintains appropriate records and reports required for daily shipping and inventory control\nInvolvement in continued process improvement and cost reduction\nMaintains a clean, orderly and safe warehouse\nRegular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job\nAnswers/makes phone calls using proper phone etiquette\nCommunicates with inside and outside contacts to ensure loading of trucks on time and troubleshoot any issues\nCoordinates with transportation and production/scheduling to ensure all shipments are flowing in and out of warehouse as scheduled\nPlease note this job description is not designed to contain a comprehensive list of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
