And if you’re like us, we can offer you the ultimate career opportunity that will light a fire within you.\nAccounting Manager - Revenue Accounting \nLocation: Sandy, UT (Hybrid; 2 days in office / week) \nSo, what's the role all about? \nAs an Accounting Manager - Revenue Accounting at NiCE, you'll play a key leadership role in managing revenue accounting operations for a global, publicly traded SaaS company. \nYou'll lead and develop a team of Senior Accountants supporting the CXone line of business, oversee monthly and quarterly revenue close activities, and ensure accurate revenue recognition and financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP and ASC 606. \nThis is an opportunity for an experienced revenue accounting professional who enjoys combining technical accounting expertise with team leadership, operational ownership, and continuous improvement. You'll work closely with Finance, accounting leadership, external auditors, and cross-functional business partners to navigate complex revenue arrangements, strengthen accounting processes, and support key financial reporting requirements. \nYou'll also play an important role in the implementation of a new revenue recognition system, helping modernize processes, improve controls, and introduce greater automation into a growing and evolving accounting function. \nWhether you're an experienced Accounting Manager or a Senior Revenue Accountant ready to take the next step in your leadership career, this role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a complex, global SaaS environment. \nHow will you make an impact? \nLead and develop your team. Manage, mentor, and support a team of Senior Accountants, providing technical guidance, coaching, and oversight of day-to-day revenue accounting activities. \nOwn the revenue close process. Lead monthly and quarterly revenue close activities, including reviewing journal entries, account reconciliations, revenue recognition schedules, and financial reporting deliverables to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness. \nOversee CXone revenue accounting. Take ownership of revenue accounting activities for the CXone line of business, working closely with accounting leadership to maintain consistent processes, strong financial controls, and reliable reporting. \nApply technical accounting expertise. Provide guidance on complex revenue arrangements, contract reviews, and revenue recognition matters in accordance with ASC 606 and US GAAP. \nResearch and document accounting conclusions. Evaluate technical accounting questions, prepare and review accounting memoranda, and support well-reasoned, clearly documented accounting conclusions. \nSupport external audits and compliance. Coordinate audit requests, prepare supporting documentation, participate in walkthroughs, and work with external auditors to resolve revenue accounting questions and ensure compliance with public-company reporting requirements. \nPartner across the business. Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, and other cross-functional stakeholders to resolve revenue-related questions, address accounting challenges, and support accurate financial reporting. \nHelp modernize revenue accounting systems. Support the implementation of a new revenue recognition system, working with key stakeholders to improve processes, strengthen controls, reduce manual activities, and introduce automation where appropriate. \nDrive operational improvements. Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, documentation, reporting accuracy, and overall team effectiveness while supporting scalable and sustainable practices. \nDeliver against critical deadlines. Monitor close timelines, anticipate potential challenges, communicate risks proactively, and ensure accounting deliverables meet established deadlines in a fast-paced, publicly traded company environment. \nHave you got what it takes? \n5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including hands-on responsibility for revenue recognition within a SaaS, subscription software, or similarly complex recurring-revenue environment. \nStrong working knowledge of ASC 606, US GAAP, and the accounting principles governing subscription-based and complex software revenue arrangements. \nExperience working within a publicly traded company or similarly complex accounting and financial reporting environment. \nPrevious people management experience or demonstrated leadership of accounting teams, processes, or significant accounting workstreams. We welcome candidates who have successfully led others and are ready to take the next step into formal people management. \nDemonstrated experience leading or managing monthly and quarterly accounting close processes, including reviewing journal entries, reconciliations, and revenue accounting schedules. \nExperience researching technical accounting matters, preparing accounting memoranda, documenting conclusions, and supporting accounting positions during external audits. \nExperience collaborating with Finance, Accounting, external auditors, and business stakeholders to resolve accounting questions and meet financial reporting objectives. \nBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. \nAdditional experience that will help you stand out: \nCPA certification. \nPublic accounting experience, particularly with a Big 4 accounting firm. \nPrevious experience as a Revenue Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor, or Senior Revenue Accountant with demonstrated leadership responsibilities. \nExperience supporting ERP implementations, revenue recognition systems, accounting automation, or financial systems transformation initiatives. \nExperience navigating complex revenue arrangements, contract modifications, or multiple-element software and subscription agreements. \nSkills and Tools \nLeadership and team development: Ability to coach, mentor, and develop accounting professionals while creating accountability, encouraging collaboration, and maintaining high standards of performance. \nSaaS revenue accounting: Strong technical understanding of ASC 606, subscription and software revenue arrangements, accounting close processes, and financial reporting requirements. \nTechnical accounting and judgment: Ability to research complex accounting questions, evaluate alternatives, document conclusions, and communicate accounting guidance clearly. \nFinancial systems and analytical skills: Advanced Excel proficiency and experience working with ERP and revenue recognition systems, including reviewing complex accounting schedules and reconciling financial data. \nProcess improvement and automation: Comfortable operating in an evolving systems environment, with the ability to improve manual processes through automation, stronger controls, and scalable accounting practices. \nCommunication and collaboration: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain accounting matters clearly and work effectively with Finance, external auditors, accounting leadership, and cross-functional business partners. \nOrganization and execution: Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to balance competing priorities, anticipate challenges, and consistently meet demanding reporting deadlines. \nProblem-solving and ownership: A proactive approach to identifying accounting issues, investigating discrepancies, recommending solutions, and taking responsibility for accurate, timely results. \n About NiCE\nNICE Ltd.
