And if you’re like us, we can offer you the ultimate career opportunity that will light a fire within you.\nPosition: Technical Product Owner\nLocation: Hedge End, Hampshire\nSo, what’s the role all about?\nHere at NiCE Public Safety, we develop state of the art solutions for the Public Safety market, bringing together voice, video and screen recording, playback and analysis for Security customers worldwide.\nWe are currently expanding our development team to allow us to continue to develop an exciting product that enables Police forces worldwide to keep up with the increasing demands of managing growing amounts of digital evidence.\nHow will you make an impact?\nYou own the Product Plan, driven from the Product roadmap, created by the Product Managers\n\nYou create a prioritised backlog based on High Level product requirements\n\nYou work closely with NICE Architects and Product Managers to clearly describe business goals and customer requirements into product backlog items\n\nAssess and review technical documentation and ensure the development team create appropriate levels of product documentation\n\nYou support the Product Manager in development of user scenarios for technical users\n\nYou work closely with R&D to:\nExplain the motivation and the customer needs behind a new requirement\n\nOwn and Groom (create and explain) the User stories\n\nBe there daily for the team for any questions & feedback\n\nUnderstand and prioritise technical requirements\n\nYou are:\nSomebody who’s comfortable getting into a detailed technical discussion with our team of software developers\n\nHappy to work on back-end solutions (e.g. software running as Windows Services)\n\nYou provide support to Customer Support, Professional Services, Technical Pre-sales teams and Training where required\n\nHave you got what it takes?\nBachelor’s degree in a technical discipline/STEM subject, preferably Computer Science or Engineering, MBA\n\nAbility to multitask and prioritise work\n\nAbility to understand technical solutions, experience of software development\n\nAbility to understand the big picture and translate it to detailed needs\n\nExperience working in an Agile delivery methodology organisation\n\nCommunicating effectively at all levels, from executive management to individual contributor\n\nExcellent English verbal and writing communication skills\n\nFast learner with ability to educate her/himself on relevant technologies e.g. Azure / Cloud-based services\n\nAbility to remain focused and calm under pressure\n\nGreat interpersonal skills\n\nYou will have an advantage if you also have:\nA growing knowledge of AI tools, technologies and processes\n\nAbility to work successfully with clients and business partners directly\n\nExperience of working with Azure technologies\n\nAn appreciation of Next Generation (NG) emergency services\n\nExperience in writing Technical Systems/Solutions Documentation\n\nExperience of systems software\n\nBreaking down complex market requirements into secure, scalable, and resilient system designs (this will come from candidates with a Systems/Architect background)\n\nWhat’s in it for you?\nLearn more about the Benefits at NICE\nJoin an ever-growing, market-disrupting, global company where the teams - comprised of the best of the best - work in a fast-paced, collaborative, and creative environment!
