And if you’re like us, we can offer you the ultimate career opportunity that will light a fire within you.\nSo, what’s the role all about?\nWe’re looking for a UI Engineer who is a strong engineer today and excited about becoming an even better one by thoughtfully using AI as part of their craft.\nThis is not a research role and not an “AI specialist” position. It is a modern UI engineering role for someone who wants to work with AI, not around it - bringing AI tools and practices into the everyday flow of frontend development, and helping the wider team do the same.\nWhat will you be doing?\nWorking on the Proactive AI Agent product as part of a cross-functional engineering team, reporting into the Engineering Manager, you will:\nDesign, build, test and maintain high quality Angular-based frontend applications using modern engineering practices.\nUse AI tools to accelerate development, improve code quality, explore solutions and reduce toil, while applying strong engineering judgement.\nCollaborate closely with product, architecture and other engineers to deliver customer value.\nCollaborate with software architects to ensure web application architecture is best-of-breed and extensible to support rapid development.\nDeliver secure, maintainable, well-tested code that meets internal guidelines and industry best practice.\nParticipate in code reviews, both giving and receiving thoughtful feedback.\nHelp evolve team practices, especially how AI is used responsibly and effectively in day-to-day engineering.\nDocument decisions, designs and learnings clearly.\nHow will you make an impact?\nYou will deliver polished, high-quality frontend features, not just code.\nYou will raise team capability by sharing better ways of working using AI-assisted approaches.\nYou will help reduce friction in delivery by using AI to automate, simplify, or improve frontend development workflows.\nUsing agentic workflows to automate routine development tasks while focusing your expertise on high-quality UI and complex component logic.\nCritically evaluate AI-generated code for logical errors, accessibility issues, and performance.\nYou will bring curiosity and pragmatism when exploring new tools or techniques.\nHelp evolve the team by sharing AI tips, and mentoring others on how to integrate AI tools responsibly into their daily workflows.\nHave you got what it takes?\nCore UI engineering skills\nAt least 5+ years of software engineering experience, with a strong frontend specialism.\nAt least 4+ years of experience with Angular (2nd generation+) in production applications.\nExperience with Angular 16+ features, e.g. standalone components, new control flow, signals.\nPractical experience with React; comfortable building and maintaining React components in a production codebase alongside Angular.\nExcellent knowledge of TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3.\nExperience working with RESTful APIs.\nExperience unit testing with Jasmine + Karma or Jest. Proficient in writing testable and reusable code and developing scalable applications.\nExperience with CSS pre-processors (SASS).\nExperience with version control, CI/CD pipelines and modern development workflows.\nA good understanding of testing, security and software quality fundamentals.\nAI-era mindset (this matters)\nActively uses AI tools (e.g. coding assistants, chat-based models, analysis tools) as part of development work.\nCurious about how AI can improve developer productivity, quality, and learning - not just speed.\nComfortable validating, correcting and refining AI-generated outputs.\nExperiments with new tools or workflows and reflects on what works and what doesn’t.\nCan explain why a solution is correct, even if AI helped produce it.\nNiCE to have, but not essential\nState management experience using NgRx/Redux.\nExperience with observables using RxJS.\nExperience with front-end hosting models.\nE2E testing using the Playwright test framework.\nExperience with Storybook.\nExperience working in an Agile Scrum environment.\nExperience working in a controlled environment where data security is paramount.\nFamiliarity with data security standards such as ISO27001, SOC2, HIPAA and GDPR.\nExperience working with SaaS.\nWhat’s in it for you?\nJoin an ever-growing, market disrupting, global company where the teams - comprised of the best of the best - work in a fast-paced, collaborative, and creative environment!
