This role applies established codes and\nstandards, executes product validation and testing, and collaborates with cross-functional\nteams to support compliance throughout the product lifecycle. Ideal candidates have\napproximately 2-5 years of relevant experience in compliance, safety, or regulatory\nengineering environments. Salary range $80k - $95k\n Job Description\nKey Responsibilities\nProvide support to various departments with code compliance activities under guidance from senior engineers.\nApply established elevator safety standards, including ASME A17.1 / CSA B44, ISO 8102-2, and CSA B44.1 / ASME A17.5 to product designs and testing activities.\nAssist design engineers in incorporating compliance requirements into products throughout the development lifecycle.\nExecute testing and validation of equipment to verify compliance with electrical safety standards and regulatory requirements.\nFollow established test procedures and contribute to updates or improvements as directed.\nAssist with third-party certification efforts (e.g., ETL or equivalent), including documentation and test support.\nSupport identification of compliance issues and participate in resolution efforts.\nMaintain awareness of applicable codes and standards and apply updates to assigned tasks.
