For the world's and people's tomorrows; the world's first, the world's best technologies and products; we will continue our part in creating a better society.\nJob Summary\nJob Description\nObjective\n To continually improve upon existing quality processes, develop new quality processes, document/analyze/report, and manage operation’s smooth/efficient implementation of Quality Processes to support the industry’s goal of zero PPM electronics product defect.\n\nEssential Responsibilities\nQuality Control: Improve existing quality processes, develop new quality processes, and implement quality control procedures to ensure that all electronic components meet industry standards and customer requirements.\n· Plan / Evaluate process conformance and perform quality audits for various manufacturing/inspection processes, validate systems, establish critical processes and prepare reports for performance.\n· Manage and validate supplied materials and establish corrective actions to ensure elimination of any non-conformance.\n· Ensure compliance to timeline and quality for various phases of engineered processes.\n· Review current manufacturing processes for continual quality process improvements and develop and execute quality system and manufacturing methods to improve or enhance process.\n· Analyze data / Monitor implementation of a Process and Quality Control Strategy.\n· Perform quality assessments for process and monitor all activities for measuring processes.\n· Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and optimize the manufacturing process quality to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and minimize defects. This may involve implementing new technologies, equipment, or techniques to improve quality / productivity.\n· Provide Quality Engineering support to operation’s engineering and resolve manufacturing issues to ensure process quality improvement.\n· Monitor projects, identify quality risks/issues and prepare documents for same.\n· Data Analysis: Collect/Analyze data related to product quality, defect rates, and process performance and identify root causes of issues and develop strategies to address them effectively based on data analysis.\n· Collaborate with the Operations Technical Training Coordinator and train various manufacturing teams for quality procedures and ensure compliance to best practices.\nProblem Solving: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Operations engineers, Production managers/supervisors, to identify and resolve quality-related problems via conducting root cause analysis, implementing corrective actions, and monitoring their effectiveness.\nDocumentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate data collection / documentation of quality control processes, test results, and any relevant changes or improvements implemented; and prepare reports on quality performance and present them to management or stakeholders.\nIATF16949 / Quality Management Systems Compliance and Customer Requirements: Ensure that the Manufacturing Team’s quality processes for the manufacture of NMOA’s electronic components comply with IATF16949 / Quality Management Systems, and customer requirements.\nExperience: 1+ year’s Quality Engineering / Quality Process Auditing\nEducation: Bachelor’s Degree (equivalent) Engineering or other technical major\nKnowledge/Skills/Abilities\nHigh detail orientation\nAbility to organize, prioritize and handle multiple tasks\nExercise high self-initiative, independent thinking and strict adherence to / application of SOP’s / WGS’s.\nIntermediate to advanced Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)\nAbility to interpret/understand/and teach technical work instructionHigh self-initiative, creativity, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail are crucial to maintain high-quality standards in the automotive electrics industry.\nA professional/collaborative nature will allow you to work effectively with diverse teams, driving continuous improvement and ensuring customer satisfaction.\n\nTravel Required: Not applicable Key Words: Process Engineer, Quality Engineer, IATF16969, Audit, Quality Control, 8D, FMEA, Error-proofing, Analysis, Problem-solving, Electronics Physical Demand (Special Considerations): While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk.
