In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating, deploying, and managing tools, processes, and procedures to secure cloud applications across multiple platforms, including Microsoft Azure, AWS, and GCP. The successful candidate will be proficient in Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM), Cloud Workload Protection Platforms (CWPP), and Cloud Native Application Protection Platforms (CNAPP) technologies. Additionally, you will be responsible for collaborating with teams across geographies and playing a key role in securing cloud infrastructure within a multi-national environment.\nResponsibilities:\nDeploy, manage, and optimize cloud security technologies, including CWPP, CNAPP, and CSPM solutions, to secure cloud platforms and applications.\nPartner with the cloud platform and app security teams to implement security controls aligned with business operations.\nProvide security recommendations for cloud IaaS/PaaS/SaaS architecture roadmaps, including baseline security controls and hardening requirements.\nDefine and enforce security guardrails that protect workloads while maintaining deployment agility.\nCollaborate with development, infrastructure, and security teams to identify vulnerabilities, implement security controls, and ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.\nAutomate security monitoring, and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) validation using tools such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Terraform, and Kubernetes.\nCollaborate with the Security Operations Center to define monitoring requirements for cloud-based systems and applications.\nDrive cloud security best practices across Azure/AWS environments, including identity management, secrets management, workload protection, and secure configuration baselines.\nPartner with architecture teams on Web Application Firewall (WAF) and API security protection patterns.\nContribute to the security champions program by providing expertise and training on cloud infrastructure security.\nAssist in design and architecture discussions, ensuring that security is embedded in the design of cloud infrastructure.\nApply hands-on experience with container technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes, to address security concerns related to containerized environments.\n Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related technical field; equivalent work experience will be considered.\n6-8 years of experience in cybersecurity with a focus on cloud security and infrastructure.\nProficiency in deploying and managing CWPP, CNAPP, and CSPM technologies.\nExpertise cloud technologies, including container technologies, virtualization, and orchestration within multi-cloud environments.\nExperience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Bitbucket, Gitlab, Jenkins, and Terraform.\nExperience in infrastructure-as-code (IaC) validation using tools such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Terraform, and Kubernetes\nStrong experience in managing cloud security tools such as Wiz, Orca Security, or Palo Alto Prisma.\nStrong knowledge of CASB and SSPM tools\nFamiliarity with cloud security best practices and industry frameworks (Zero Trust, passwordless authentication, secrets management, etc.).\nCertifications such as AZ-500: Microsoft Azure Security, AWS Certified Security - Specialty, or GCP certifications are a plus.\nStrong problem-solving and analytical skills, capable of addressing complex security challenges with innovative solutions.\nSelf-starter with a passion for technology, cybersecurity, and continuous improvement.\nDemonstrated engagement in security conferences, training, and continuous learning is highly desirable.\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a global, matrixed environment.\n Our Benefits\nFlexible working environment\nVolunteer time off\nLinkedIn Learning\nEmployee-Assistance-Program (EAP)\nNIQ may utilize artificial intelligence (AI) tools at various stages of the recruitment process, including résumé screening, candidate assessments, interview scheduling, job matching, communication support, and certain administrative tasks that help streamline workflows.
