You will play a key role in improving reliability, observability, automation, security, and operational efficiency across complex cloud-native environments.\nYou will work with reliability initiatives, drive platform improvements, and partner with multiple engineering teams to build resilient, scalable services. AI-enabled operations, observability, and automation will be core components of your approach to reliability engineering.\nResponsibilities\nDesign and implement scalable, highly available cloud infrastructure supporting production workloads.\nAutomate infrastructure provisioning, scaling, and lifecycle management using Infrastructure-as-Code.\nLead reliability improvements across distributed cloud-native systems.\nDefine and enforce SLIs, SLOs, SLAs, and reliability standards.\nManage and optimize complex CI/CD pipelines including automated testing, blue-green deployments, and canary releases.\nOptimize Kubernetes environments for availability, scalability, performance, and cost efficiency.\nImplement comprehensive observability strategies including advanced monitoring, distributed tracing, logging, and alerting.\nTroubleshoot and resolve large-scale reliability, latency, and performance issues.\nWork with event-driven architectures and technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar platforms.\nImplement cloud security, identity, access control, and infrastructure governance best practices.\nDrive incident management, root-cause analysis, and operational improvement initiatives.\nLead capacity planning, performance optimization, and reliability forecasting activities.\nApply AI technologies to improve observability, automate operational workflows, generate runbooks, and enhance troubleshooting processes.\nMentor junior engineers and promote Site Reliability Engineering best practices.\nPartner with platform, security, and engineering teams to improve resilience and operational excellence.\n 3-5 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Platform Engineering.\nExperience designing and operating scalable distributed systems in cloud environments.\nStrong expertise with Azure, AWS, GCP, or hybrid-cloud platforms.\nDeep knowledge of Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation, Bicep, or equivalent Infrastructure-as-Code tooling.\nStrong Kubernetes and container orchestration experience.\nExperience operating and optimizing CI/CD and deployment automation platforms.\nExpertise in observability platforms such as Dynatrace, Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, or New Relic.\nStrong understanding of reliability engineering concepts including SLOs, SLIs, SLAs, error budgets, and incident management.\nExperience with messaging systems and event-driven architectures.\nStrong knowledge of networking, cloud security, identity management, and automation practices.\nProven ability to troubleshoot performance, scalability, and reliability issues at scale.\nExperience leveraging AI-assisted solutions for observability, automation, operational analytics, and runbook generation.\nStrong communication, collaboration, and mentoring skills.\n Preferred Qualifications\nCloud certifications (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).\nKubernetes certifications (CKA, CKAD, or equivalent).\nExperience with FinOps, cloud cost optimization, and governance.\nExperience supporting mission-critical enterprise or SaaS platforms.\nExposure to AIOps, predictive monitoring, or AI-enhanced operations platforms.\nOur Benefits\nFlexible working environment\nVolunteer time off\nLinkedIn Learning\nEmployee-Assistance-Program (EAP)\nNIQ may utilize artificial intelligence (AI) tools at various stages of the recruitment process, including résumé screening, candidate assessments, interview scheduling, job matching, communication support, and certain administrative tasks that help streamline workflows.
