This role offers hands-on experience with enterprise cloud platforms, system administration, and automation while working alongside experienced engineers. Ideal for recent graduates eager to build expertise in cloud technologies and DevOps practices in a mission-focused environment..\nKey Responsibilities:\nCloud Infrastructure Support: Administer and maintain Windows and Linux servers and applications running on the server.\nDevelop and maintain task sequences, packages, and application deployments.\nProvide advanced troubleshooting and support for Windows and Linux Server environments\nPerform server builds, configurations, upgrades, and migrations.\nMonitor system performance, diagnose issues, and implement solutions to ensure high availability.\nDocumentation of processes and procedures.\nLinux package and dependency management\nAdminister user accounts, permissions, and security configurations.\nImplement patching, hardening, and compliance measures for Linux systems.\nWrite scripts to automate build out and tasks\nExecution of O/M of malware analysis applications\nAdministration of Kubernetes PODs and POD management via various applications such as ArgoCD and Kubernetes console\nClone, commit and push code to GITHUB\nPush code via Jenkins Pipeline to various namespaces (TEST, DEV, UAT and PRD )\nBuild out environments using Terraform or ansible \nQualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field (or graduation within 10 months)\nAbility to obtain and maintain DHS Public Trust security clearance\nBasic understanding of cloud computing concepts (AWS, Azure, or GCP)\nFundamental knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems\nBasic network knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls)\nStrong foundation in at least one programming language (Java, Python, C++, or JavaScript)\nBasic understanding of software development principles and data structures.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nAbility to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.\nEagerness to learn new technologies in a fast-paced environment\nEducation:\nBachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field) or equivalent experience.\nExperience:\nLess than 2 years of prior relevant experience.\nDesired Certifications:\nThe candidate may possess one or more of the following certifications:\nMicrosoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals\nAWS Certified Developer - Associate\nOracle Certified Associate, Java SE Programmer\nCompTIA IT Fundamentals (ITF+)\nSoftware development methodology certification (e.g. SCRUM Master) highly desired.\nGitHub or GitLab Certifications\nAdditional Information:\nThis is a hybrid position, and the selected candidate will be required to periodically work at our Nightwing Location (Sterling, VA).\nPreferred Skills:\nFamiliarity with version control systems (Git/GitHub)\nExposure to scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash)\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nFamiliarity with software development tools and methodologies.\nAbility to work collaboratively in a team environment.\nExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal.\nKnowledge of software configuration management tools and quality standards is a plus.\nUnderstanding of containerization concepts (Docker, Kubernetes basics)\nPrior internship or work experience in IT support or system administration\nESS-3625\n Salary & Benefits\n\nThe salary associated with this position ($55,000-$106,000) is commensurate with the selected candidate’s qualifications, years of relevant experience, and demonstrated level of expertise.
