Working as part of a collaborative team, this role ensures efficient operations that support mission-critical activities ..\nClearance Requirement: TS/SCI with Polygraph (active)\nKey Responsibilities:\nLinux IT & Systems Support\nInstall, configure, and maintain Linux-based systems, workstations, and associated equipment across user workspaces\nPerform Tier 1 system administration for Linux environments, including basic user management, patching, and troubleshooting .\nSupport and resolve break/fix issues on Linux systems both in person and remotely .\nAssist with basic automation/scripting tasks (e.g., Bash) to improve efficiency\nAssist with local network connectivity and equipment setup as needed\nRespond promptly to support requests and incidents, ensuring timely resolution .\nLogistics & Operations\nSupport the receipt, storage, tagging, and transportation of IT equipment, goods, and materials, including packing, shipping, and receiving functions for technology assets .\nPerform inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records to prevent damage and loss .\nTag, track, and update inventory management systems to ensure accurate stock records and material accountability .\nPhysically move and stage equipment within the facility\nFollow established procedures for the safe handling and storage of materials, including hazardous materials when required .\nSupport process improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, productivity, and accuracy .\nCross-Functional Responsibilities\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams and engage with stakeholders to determine IT and logistics needs for meetings, projects, and deployments .\nSupport facility safety requirements and report potential hazards .\nFollow security guidelines related to material handling, equipment movement, and IT asset management .\nRequired Skills:\nTechnical Skills\nFoundational experience with or exposure to Linux-based systems and basic troubleshooting\nWorking knowledge of basic networking principles and connectivity\nBroad IT knowledge to assess and mitigate potential technical impacts .\nProficiency with common productivity applications and ability to learn new databases and applications .\nLogistics & Operational Skills\nAbility to follow security guidelines related to material handling and equipment movement .\nStrong organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment .\nAbility to perform basic equipment checks and report maintenance issues .\nCommitment to following established safety protocols and best practices .\nGeneral Skills\nStrong communication and collaboration skills .\nAbility to work effectively both independently and as part of a team .\nSelf-starter with a willingness to learn new technologies and methods .\nAbility to follow assigned tasks through completion and seek guidance when needed .\nAbility to work under deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality standards .\nAbility to lift up to 60 lbs and travel as required .\nWillingness to support operational requirements beyond traditional business hours as needed .\nDesired Skills:\nPrior experience in a warehouse, inventory, logistics, supply chain, or shipping/receiving environment .\nFamiliarity with inventory management principles and material accountability practices .\nBasic understanding of warehouse safety procedures and safe material handling techniques .\nExposure to scripting (Bash, Python) for task automation\nFamiliarity with Cisco network switches, routers, and firewalls .\nEducation/Certification Requirements:\nCollege degree preferred, or high school diploma plus some advanced training .\nCurrent or in-progress certification in at least one of the following areas preferred:CompTIA Linux+, A+, Network+, or Security+ .\nRed Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) or equivalent Linux certification\n\nSalary & Benefits\nThe salary associated with this position ($64,000-$128,000) is commensurate with the selected candidate’s qualifications, years of relevant experience, and demonstrated level of expertise.
