Nightwing brings disruptive technologies, agility, and competitive offerings to customers in the intelligence community, defense, civil, and commercial markets.\nJob Summary\nNightwing is seeking a Systems Administrator with a proven ability supporting Information Technology systems and networks in a challenging, high-tempo, dynamic work environment. Our Information Technology team members work directly alongside program engineering teams to drive mission execution and deliver best-in-class solutions to our government and commercial customers. The chosen candidate will be expected to be a self-starter, able to work as part of a larger team and adapt to evolving requirements. Responsibilities of this position include:\nImplementing and maintaining mission enabling Information Technology systems supporting Nightwing programs and customers.\nPerforming routine maintenance and system administration tasks such as software and hardware installations, troubleshooting, system hardening, vulnerability analysis and remediation, Operating System patching and general network administration across various computing systems.\nCoordinating IT operations activities between program personnel, security teams, leadership and communicating status as appropriate.\nAbide by established standards, processes and industry best practices in the execution of daily tasking, projects and producing documentation that can be utilized by IT and engineering team members.\nBasic Qualifications\n8+ years of applicable experience delivering and supporting IT solutions in government accredited program network environments using Windows and Linux Operating Systems.\nProven ability in collaborating with internal and external customers and delivering technical solutions to engineering teams to solve critical pain points and achieve mission objectives.\nStrong familiarity with IT concepts such as virtualization, networking, Microsoft Active Directory services, DHCP, DNS, etc.\nPreferred Qualifications\nProficient with system compliance and hardening using DISA STIGs and/or CIS Benchmarks.\nProficient with supporting technical security controls and tools (ex. MFA, PKI and DLP)\nProficient with scripting and automation techniques using PowerShell, Python, BASH and Ansible.\nProficient with supporting audit collection and reduction (SIEM) tools such as Splunk.\nProficient with vulnerability assessment and remediation using Nessus or Rapid7.\nFamiliarity with NIST 800-53 control frameworks.\nEducation\n\nBachelor’s degree in Information Technology Systems, Cybersecurity or other STEM field is preferred. \nPossess or be able to obtain a DOD 8140/8570 IAT Level II or higher certification (ie. Security+ CE, CISSP, etc.).\nClearance\n\nThis position requires a current TS//SCI clearance\n Salary & Benefits\n\nThe salary associated with this position ($99,000-$206,000) is commensurate with the selected candidate’s qualifications, years of relevant experience, and demonstrated level of expertise.
