Schedules conversions and cutovers.\nClearance required:\nTS/SCI with Poly\nThe Senior Network Engineer shall possess the following capabilities:\nProvide input to the design of the organization's network and mission architecture\nReports any known or suspected COMSEC incidents immediately\nPerform configuration, test, deployment, and maintenance to all network equipment. Configure and optimize the network to connect various front-end and back-end components\nMinimize network latency and maximize data throughput through design analysis and network performance monitoring tools\nDevelops algorithms used in modules or incorporated into models associated with the research and development of technologies and systems\nEnsures that all material received is inspected for evidence of tampering and, if any is found, submits a report of suspected physical incident immediately.\nConfigure and maintain organization's network diagrams and accreditations\nIntegrate hardware and software to satisfy ISO 9000 requirements and other DoD/IC regulations\nIntegrate hardware and software to satisfy ISO 9000 requirements and other DoD/IC regulations\nDesign, integrate, test, and deploy solutions to established network issues\nOptimize end-to-end system performance and dataflow management\nCoordinate with appropriate dataflow organizations and end-customer recipients, follow-on data repositories and tasking organizations and mitigate potential adverse impacts on system-wide dataflow\nImplement specific network solutions to support server requirements to include load­balancing, VPN's, firewall contexts, Traffic Shaping Voice over IP (VoIP), IP Encryption, Media over IP (MoIP), and network address translation Coordinate with the system engineering and dataflow efforts to ensure proper mission operations to minimize down time\nDesign solutions, integrate, configure, deploy, test and provide ongoing maintenance for numerous types of network devices, interfaces and methodologies\nGather needed data to specify system/component performance and interface requirements\nManage, develop work schedules and direct the work of junior level engineers\nQualifications:\nTwelve (12) years of relevant professional experience providing Network Engineering support is required. A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline is required. A Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security Systems Engineering, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university may be substituted for two (2) years of experience, thereby reducing the total years of experience to six (6). Five (5) additional years of relevant experience providing Network Engineering support may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.\nThe salary associated with this position $122,000-$253,000is commensurate with the selected candidate’s qualifications, years of relevant experience, and demonstrated level of expertise.
