This position applies advanced software engineering principles and SAFe Agile methodologies to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance applications. The Senior Engineer collaborates with cross-functional teams, mentors junior developers, and ensures software solutions meet stringent technical, functional, and security requirements.\nKey Responsibilities:\nLead design and implementation of complex software features\nArchitect technical solutions that align with system design principles\nMentor and guide less experienced engineers\nConduct thorough code reviews ensuring quality and security standards\nImplement and optimize DevSecOps automation\nDesign and develop scalable microservices architectures\nLead technical discussions and architecture decisions\nTroubleshoot complex technical issues across the stack\nParticipate in and contribute to SAFe Program-level activities\nSupport third-party code reviews and security assessments\nRequired Qualifications:\nMinimum 10 years of software development experience\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent substitution)\nExpert-level proficiency in multiple programming languages (Python, Java, Go, etc.)\nDeep understanding of microservices, containerization, and orchestration\nExtensive experience with DevSecOps practices and toolchains\nStrong knowledge of software design patterns and architectural principles\nExperience with distributed systems and message queuing (Kafka, NATS, RabbitMQ)\nProficiency in database technologies (PostgreSQL, Redis, Elasticsearch)\nDemonstrated ability to lead technical implementations\nActive TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain CI Polygraph\nMust be U.S. citizen\nMust be located in NCR or San Antonio area\nSalary & Benefits\nThe salary associated with this position ($99,000-$206,000) is commensurate with the selected candidate’s qualifications, years of relevant experience, and demonstrated level of expertise.
