Nightwing brings disruptive technologies, agility, and competitive offerings to customers in the intelligence community, defense, civil, and commercial markets.\nNightwing is supporting a U.S. Government customer to provide support for onsite incident response to civilian Government agencies and critical asset owners who experience cyber-attacks, providing immediate investigation and resolution. Contract personnel perform investigations to characterize of the severity of breaches, develop mitigation plans, and assist with the restoration of services. Nightwing is seeking Technical Editors to support this critical customer mission.\nResponsibilities:\nDeveloping, collaborating and reviewing technical communication deliverables (e.g., cybersecurity documentation, operational procedures, plans, action reports).\nDeveloping, reviewing, editing, and maintaining program technical documents/products (Classified & Unclassified), standard operation procedures, work instructions, CONOPS, briefings and internal team messaging - based on collected information, leadership guidance, and existing documentation.\nMaintaining statistical diagrams and charts of team engagement reports.\nCapture and transmit meeting minutes, including key points of discussion, action items, and suspense dates.\nAssisting Action Officers with comprehensive meeting support (e.g., planning, deconflict, logistics, invites, meeting minutes).\nRequired Skills:\nU.S. Citizenship\nMust have an active TS/SCI clearance\nMust be able to obtain DHS Suitability\n5+ years of technical writing experience including developing cybersecurity communications deliverables such as documentation, plans, action reports, and meeting minutes for internal and external audiences.\nExperience with creating and maintaining government records associated with cybersecurity activities, documentation, and SOPs.\nExcellent hands-on experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Products, and GSuite.\nFluid technical writing and editing skills, including the use of AP Style and/ or government agency directed style guides.\nAbility to work with technical cyber analysts to evaluate material and break it down into concise, compelling narrative that engages the reader.\nAbility to work under pressure with engagement leads, technical analysts, and subject matter experts in a fast-paced cybersecurity environment to ensure timely product release.\nPrior experience developing Concept of Operations, operations and field manuals, revising functional requirements, as well as organizational diagrams, workflows, and processes. \nBasic applied knowledge of intelligence lifecycle\nDesired Skills:\nWorking knowledge of Cyber threat intelligence (CTI) functions (e.g., contextualized analysis).\nCTI experience with respect to understanding and applying intelligence cycle doctrine to cyber intelligence planning. \nFamiliarity with cybersecurity/CTI communications terminology, concepts, and subject matter.\nExperience with creating technical briefings, to include executive leadership briefings.\nExperience providing summaries to executive level leadership.\nRequired Education:\nBachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in English, Business or related, or 5+ years technical writing and editing experience with a high school diploma\nDesired Certifications:\nSec+, ITILv4\n Salary & Benefits\n\nThe salary associated with this position ($77,000-$163,000) is commensurate with the selected candidate’s qualifications, years of relevant experience, and demonstrated level of expertise.
