This role may require availability outside regular business hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to support urgent operational needs.\nWHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR\nWe are seeking a Licensed Lead Supervising Electrician who can provide technical leadership and act as the electrical authority for in-house electrical work. This role is responsible for overseeing execution, enforcing code compliance, and serving as the escalation point for complex electrical and system issues.\nThe ideal candidate combines deep electrical expertise with strong leadership capability. You will guide electricians and technicians, support facility and engineering initiatives, and ensure all electrical work is performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with Oregon electrical codes. This role requires strong decision-making, high autonomy, and the ability to balance daily operational execution with long-term system reliability, safety, and performance improvement.\nRequired Skills & Experience\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience (e.g., completion of a recognized electrical apprenticeship program, Journeyman Electrician certification, military electrical training, or equivalent industrial experience).\nValid State of Oregon Supervising Electrician License.\n8+ years of industrial electrical experience in manufacturing environments.\nProven experience leading electrical work and supervising teams.\nAdvanced troubleshooting of industrial electrical systems\nStrong knowledge of: o NEC (NFPA 70) o Oregon Electrical Specialty Code (OESC) o NFPA 70E (Electrical Safety in the Workplace) o Lockout/Tagout (OSHA 1910.147) o Arc flash safety and hazard analysis\nQEW (Qualified Electrical Worker) certification or equivalent\nStrong leadership, communication, and technical decision-making skills\nDemonstrated experience working cross-functionally in production environments\nPreferred Skills & Experience\nExperience working with vendors and managing electrical contractors, including scope coordination and quality oversight\nExperience with transformer configuration, installation, and power distribution systems\nWHAT YOU’LL WORK ON\nAt Nike Air Manufacturing Innovation, you will lead electrical reliability and execution across advanced manufacturing facilities. You will serve as the licensed authority, support escalations, and ensure all electrical work enables safe, reliable, and scalable production operations.\nKey Responsibilities\nServe as the licensed electrical authority and ensure compliance with NEC, Oregon codes, and safety standards\nAct as the signing supervisor for permitting and internal electrical work\nLead resolution of complex electrical escalations and system failures\nOversee and approve electrical modifications, upgrades, and installations\nSupport Facilities in defining solutions and structured action plans for electrical modifications and installations.\nEnsure electrical systems are production-ready, safe, and scalable\nCoordinate and oversee external electrical contractors and vendor activities\nProvide mentorship and technical guidance to electricians and maintenance technicians\nEnforce electrical safety practices, including LOTO, arc flash, and NFPA 70E compliance\nCollaborate cross-functionally within Manufacturing Operations to drive execution and alignment\nWe offer a number of accommodations to complete our interview process including screen readers, sign language interpreters, accessible and single location for in-person interviews, closed captioning, and other reasonable modifications as needed.
