Externally, this role will require close partnership with Nike’s wholesale partners and Third party Logistics Partners.This role will report to the Logistics Manager and will be based out of Bangalore.\nWHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR\nWe are looking for an experienced logistics professional with expertise in inventory management, transportation operations, and 3PL partner management. The ideal candidate will lead end-to-end order fulfillment operations, drive inventory accuracy, service excellence, and cost efficiency, while managing key performance metrics, SLAs, and partner governance.\nThis role requires a proactive and analytical problem solver who can work independently, navigate operational complexities, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and logistics partners. The successful candidate will ensure seamless execution across the supply chain to deliver an outstanding consumer experience and support the growth of Nike India operations.\nBachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field.\nMinimum 5 years of experience in logistics, warehouse operations, inventory management, transportation management.\nProven experience managing 3PL-operated warehouses and transportation providers.\nStrong knowledge of Inventory Control, Warehouse Operations, Transportation Planning, and Distribution Management.\nHands-on experience with Order Management Systems(OMS), Warehouse Management Systems(WMS), Transport Management Systems(TMS) and SAP\nExperience managing KPIs, SLAs, operational performance reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nProven ability to analyze logistics costs, identify cost savings opportunities, and improve operational efficiency.\nAdvanced analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting tools.\nStrong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.\nKeen attention to detail, an aptitude for process, and a hunger to continuously learn and grow.\nAbility to work as strong team player within a diverse group.\nAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and continuously evolving environment.\nWHAT YOU’LL WORK ON\nOwn day-to-day Order fulfillment operations with Third Party Logistics(3PL) partner and transportation partners, balancing service, capacity, delivery performance, and cost. \nAlign distribution-center capacity, delivery planning and scheduling, and performance expectations with internal cross-functional teams and external partners. \nFacilitate conversations and lead supply chain performance, KPI & SLA reviews with 3PL partner that drive operational excellence.\nManage inventory governance across partner-operated warehouses, monitor inventory accuracy, stock integrity, inventory aging, shrinkage, and cycle count performance.\nLead root cause analysis and corrective action plans for inventory discrepancies.\nDrive inventory optimization initiatives to improve stock availability while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory.\nPartner with 3PL partner to ensure compliance with inventory control processes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).\nDevelop and maintain inventory performance dashboards and reporting\nManage transportation partners to ensure achievement of agreed service levels and delivery commitments.\nMonitor key transportation metrics including Ontime Delivery performance, Delivery accuracy, Proof of Delivery,Claims settlement and Freight Cost per unit.\nConduct transportation network reviews and identify opportunities for cost savings and service improvements.\nLead carrier performance reviews and establish corrective action plans for service failures.\nSupport peak season planning and transportation capacity management.\nConduct regular business reviews with 3PL partners and transportation providers.\nTrack and improve agreed KPI and SLA performance through structured governance.\nDrive Lean and continuous improvement initiatives across logistics operations.\nEnsure logistics partners comply with contractual obligations, operational standards, and service requirements.\nIs accountable for projects or programs with manageable risks and resource requirements\nResponsible for development and management/administration of all policies and procedures to ensure efficient and cost-effective movement of goods.\nApplies best practices and knowledge of internal/external business challenges to improve products, processes, or
