You’ll balance priorities across planned and unplanned work to ensure that facility disruption is kept to a minimum. You'll develop and work with a highly motivated team skilled in industrial maintenance to maintain and repair plastics manufacturing equipment in extrusion, thermoforming and injection molding processes.\nShift:\nN1: T/W/TH and every other Monday - 5:30 pm - 5:30 am\nWHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR\nTypical Capabilities\nScope: Manages multiple professionals, but direct/indirect reports may include Associate track roles. Manages operational initiatives and achieves team goals through leading team.\nProblem Solving: Applies evaluation and judgment to select the right course of action and uses sophisticated analytical or problem-solving skills to identify cause of issues. Utilizes past experience or precedent to identify solutions or adapt existing approaches to resolve the issue. Communicates information to audiences who are not familiar with the subject matter.\nLeadership: Accountable for meeting short-term to medium-term targets that impact the department or team. Responsible for performance management, pay, training and resourcing decisions.\nEducation Requirement\nBachelor’s degree required in the relevant or a related field, or any acceptable combination of education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant or a related field.\nThe candidate needs to have demonstrated strong problem-solving ability necessary to identify defects and repair industrial equipment. To be successful in this role a candidate should have familiarity and training with electrical, mechanical, and fluid system safety, diagnostics, and repair.\nRequired Skills & Experience:\nHigh School diploma or GED\nPost high school Technical/Vocational school degree or education or related Military training in industrial maintenance technology and industrial electrical systems\n3 years industrial/manufacturing maintenance experience, preferably in plastics manufacturing\nElectrical safety, troubleshooting, and repair experience includingPLC control systems (Siemens and Allen Bradley preferred)\nAC electrical systems and components up to 3-phase 480-volt\nDC electrical systems and components\nReplacement of components including drives, motors, pumps, heaters, switches and HMI panels\n\nExperience working with basic hand tools, machine shop equipment, precision measuring instruments, digital multi-meters, cutting and welding equipment\nAbility to read and understand documentation and drawings for mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems \nPersonal computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office and background using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS). SAP is preferred.\nAbility to work 12-hour shifts, including possible evenings, weekends, and holidays.\nAble to lift objects up to 50lbs\nPreferred Skills & Experience:\nExperience working with plastic processing equipment and processes including extrusion, thermoforming, injection molding, and support equipment such as driers, loaders and transfer systems.\nExperience and/or certification working with common Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and variable frequency drives\nExperience and/or certification working with industrial automation and robotics (Denso and ABB preferred)\nFamiliarity with reliability-based maintenance programs and principles\nAbility to be certified to operate forklifts, man lifts, and scissor lifts\nWHAT YOU’LL WORK ON\nAt Nike Air Manufacturing Innovation, we create and produce the celebrated, proprietary, cushioning systems that make Nike Air products famous. There are a wide variety of mechanical, electrical, electronic control, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and components to apply your troubleshooting skills.\nOur 24/7 production facilities rely on experienced industrial maintenance professionals to perform preventative maintenance, deploy projects to decrease downtime, and quickly respond to equipment issues and return assets to production. Our Maintenance team supports the facility in teams aligned to each of the four shifts.\nAs a Team Coach you will be leading one of these teams supporting one of our production shifts. You will work alongside a team that thrives in a fast-paced environment - delivering solutions to issues and maximizing uptime.\nYou will ensure repairs or modifications to production equipment is done utilizing your team’s skills in: Controls, drawings, electrical, general mechanics, hand tools, hydraulics, machine shop, piping systems, PLC knowledge, pneumatics, RF, troubleshooting, welding, and programming\nAs a Team Coach, you ensure we perform PMs on production equipment and determine through these regular inspections the repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent failure of production equipment and improve reliability. \nAs needed contact vendors, research problems, identify potential components, order maintenance machine parts. Track and turn in repairable flagged parts.
