Product Creation is the technology powerhouse behind Nike’s product creation ecosystem driving digital transformation across Footwear, Apparel, and Accessories. In this role, you will to solve complex software engineering problems supporting Nike’s pursuit of delivering state of the art tools to our product developers and broader creation community. You will need to be highly collaborative with peers, productive in a fast-paced development environment and have depth of native cloud software engineering experience.\nKey Qualifications.\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent experience\n14+ years hands-on software engineering experience\n5+ years experience as a Principal or Staff Engineer, accountable for multiple engineering teams\n5+ years native cloud engineering experience in a high scale, business critical domain\nExcellent computer science fundamentals including algorithms, data structures, and modern cloud native design patterns\nHands-on experience implementing Gen AI and working knowledge of Gen AI design patterns\nDeep experience with distributed cloud systems tech (Java/node.js, EC2, Lambda, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch, or Google Cloud/Azure equivalents)\nExperience with front-end web application tech (javascript, CSS, html5, Vue, React/redux)\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills, both technical and business-facing\nAbility to build and maintain relationships with multiple senior stakeholders\nDomain experience in product creation, design, innovation or manufacturing is a major plus\nAbility to pass a seven year background investigation\nWHAT YOU WILL WORK ON\nIf this is you, you’ll be working on the Product Creation team and be one of the primary technical leaders on one of Nike’s emerging technology platforms. In a typical week, half of your time will be spent leading by example to design, develop, operate, and integrate Nike and partner platforms and applications.
