What to expect

As an Accounting Assistant, you will support the company’s day-to-day accounting and financial operations in a role that requires accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail, while offering a variety of responsibilities. Task Description

• You will be responsible for the overall organization and administration of office operations (Office Management) at a company-wide level.
• You will organize and coordinate business travel arrangements, including international travel.
• You will support daily operational accounting activities, such as the preparation of orders, invoices and billing.
• You will independently perform financial analyses and evaluate financial data at company, team, and project levels.
• You will work with modern IT systems (e.g. Jira and Confluence), project management tools (e.g. Blue Ant and Salesforce), and Business Intelligence tools (e.g. Power BI).
• You will continuously review and improve internal core, support, and management processes.
• You will process financial data and key performance indicators required for the company’s strategic decision-making.
• You will actively participate in managing relationships with external partners and suppliers.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (University or Technical Education Institute) in Economics, Business Administration, or Marketing.
• Internship or entry-level professional experience in an accounting firm or in office administration (Office Management).
• Excellent computer skills, particularly in MS Office applications.
• Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken.
• Knowledge of back-office administrative processes.
• Professional and friendly demeanor, self-confidence, and flexibility.
• Strong teamwork and service-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills.
• High sense of responsibility, ability to work independently with strong attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of the German language.
• Basic knowledge of payroll and invoicing processes.
• Experience with accounting data entry.
• Experience with the ERGANI system.
• Familiarity with ISO certification procedures and company compliance protocols.
• Experience with ERP systems.
