You’ll lead a multidisciplinary engineering team, solve complex production challenges, introduce new technologies and help turn new product concepts into efficient, high-quality serial production.\nYour new role\nReporting directly to the Site Leader, VP, Head of Operations, you will lead a team of 10+ engineering professionals, including Production Engineers, Technicians, Tooling Engineers, ECN Coordinators and Maintenance colleagues.\nYour scope will stretch across production engineering, new product industrialisation, tooling and maintenance, giving you the opportunity to influence both today’s performance and tomorrow’s manufacturing capabilities.\nWhat will you be responsible for?\nLead and develop your engineering organisation\nLead, support and develop a multidisciplinary engineering team.\nCreate an environment where practical problem-solving, collaboration and continuous improvement thrive.\nWork closely with production and other functions to translate business needs into effective engineering solutions.\nKeep production moving and make it better\nEnsure uninterrupted production from a technical perspective through fast, practical and sustainable problem-solving.\nOversee the operation and development of manufacturing equipment and plant maintenance.\nDrive production efficiency improvements and introduce new manufacturing technologies.\nEnsure accurate production documentation, including Visual Factory work instructions, process maps and layouts.\nMaintain engineering master data in SAP.\nInitiate and support product and production changes and component validation.\nBring new products successfully into production\nPartner with R&D during new product development.\nDefine assembly processes for new products.\nEnsure new production processes deliver the required quality and efficiency.\nManage the technical documentation needed for serial production.\nCoordinate product phase-in and phase-out activities.\nTake ownership of supplier tooling\nMaintain supplier tooling data in Nilfisk’s Tool Management System.\nManage tooling-related supplier escalations and relationships with tooling suppliers and subcontractors.\nAssess tooling condition and prepare and evaluate investment plans.\nProvide technical approval for new product tooling.\nStrengthen maintenance reliability\nLead preventive maintenance activities.\nOversee the procurement, storage and issuance of spare parts for production equipment.\nWhat will help you succeed?\nWe’re looking for a leader who is comfortable both setting direction and getting close to the problem when needed.\nYou bring:\nA degree in Engineering.\nSolid experience in a manufacturing environment.\nProven experience leading engineering teams.\nA hands-on mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nExperience working with ERP systems.
