If you enjoy solving complex manufacturing challenges, driving continuous improvement, and working closely with cross-functional teams, this could be your next career move.\nAreas of Responsibility:\nAct as the technical owner for the assigned product portfolio and production lines and ensure robust manufacturing support.\nDrive process excellence by developing and maintaining efficient, safe, and sustainable assembly operations.\nLead and coordinate cross-functional activities related to product launches, engineering changes, and continuous improvement projects.\nEnsure compliance with industry standards, internal procedures, and quality, environmental, and safety regulations (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).\nContribute to building a culture of problem-solving, innovation, and continuous improvement within the manufacturing team.\nKey Tasks:\nDevelop, implement, and optimize assembly processes, tools, and equipment to ensure efficient production and high product quality.\nSupport New Product Introduction (NPI) projects, including assembly line design, PFMEA, process validation, and documentation.\nIdentify and implement continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Kaizen) to reduce waste, improve efficiency, and lower costs.\nProvide technical support to production teams in troubleshooting assembly issues and ensuring smooth operations.\nCreate and maintain process documentation, including work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and process flow charts.\nManage cycle time improvement, lead time reduction, layout optimization etc.\nCollaborate with Quality to investigate non-conformities and implement corrective and preventive actions.\nEnsure compliance with safety standards and promote a culture of safe working practices.\nSupport capacity planning, line balancing, and ergonomic assessments to optimize labor utilization.\nParticipate in equipment specification, procurement, installation, and qualification for new assembly technologies. Take ownership of technical issues and collaborate with our development team to resolve advanced challenges.\nAdhere to ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 system requirements and support new R&D projects with proper documentation.\nRegister and update product technical changes in the SAP system, providing accurate bills of material for production.\nCoordinate initial sampling processes, evaluate technical documentation, and register results.\nEnsure effective communication regarding technical changes and new product parameters.\nAttend weekly meetings to provide status updates and document new processes, ensuring existing documentation is current.\nQualifications:\nDegree in electrical or mechanical engineering\nEngineering experience in a manufacturing environment.\nGood problem-solving and analytical skills with a structured, data-driven approach.\nAbility to work effectively in cross-functional teams and communicate clearly at all organizational levels.\nFluent in English and Hungarian, both written and spoken.\nProficient in computer applications and software relevant to engineering processes.\nWhy Join Us?\nAt Nilfisk, you will benefit from a professional and supportive working environment that fosters liberty and encourages a growth mindset.
