You'll design, build, and optimize Cortex-powered applications, from first architecture sketch to production. You'll work with clients and engineers to turn abstract ideas into systems people use. \nKey Responsibilities \nArchitect and build: Design and implement AI applications on Snowflake using Cortex AI functions, Cortex Analyst, Cortex Search, Cortex Agents, and Snowflake Intelligence. \n Build the data foundation: Shape the pipelines, semantic models, and unstructured data processing (including Document AI) that make AI answers trustworthy. \nDevelop full-stack: Build with Python, SQL, Snowpark, and Streamlit, and integrate with external APIs, applications, and LLM providers where the use case calls for it. \nDesign for scale and security: Apply role-based access control, data masking, and governance so applications are secure, resilient, and compliant from day one. \nManage cost and performance: Tune warehouses, models, and queries, and make consumption-based costs predictable for clients. \nLead client conversations: Run architecture sessions, demos, and workshops. Help clients choose the right approach and understand the trade-offs. \nCollaborate: Work closely with data engineers, data scientists, and app developers to deliver end-to-end outcomes. \nKeep learning: Track Snowflake's fast-moving AI roadmap and turn new capabilities into reusable patterns for the team. \nWhat We're Looking For \nRequired \nProven experience as a data or AI architect or senior engineer, including hands-on work on Snowflake. \nStrong SQL and Python skills, with experience in Snowpark. \nWorking knowledge of Snowflake Cortex capabilities, or comparable hands-on experience with LLM-based applications and a clear plan to ramp quickly. \nFamiliarity with RAG, semantic search, text-to-SQL, and agentic patterns. \nSolid grasp of data modeling, ELT/ETL, and orchestration (dbt, Airflow, or similar). \nStrong understanding of Snowflake security and governance: RBAC, masking, row access policies, and data sharing. \nExperience with CI/CD, APIs, and cloud fundamentals on Azure, AWS, or GCP. \nPreferred \nSnowPro Core or Advanced certification. \nExperience with Streamlit, Snowflake Native Apps, or Cortex Fine-tuning. \nBackground in data science, machine learning, or formal engineering training. \nExperience integrating Snowflake with other AI platforms, including Claude. \nConsulting or client-facing delivery experience. \nCore Qualities \nProblem-solving excellence: You approach hard technical challenges with creativity and rigor. \nOwnership and accountability: You take responsibility for design, delivery, and success. \nAdaptability: You're comfortable learning and shipping new technology in a fast-moving field. \nCollaboration: You communicate clearly and work well in a team. \nInterview process\nInterview with Recruiter (30 min)\n1st Technical Interview (45 min)\n2nd Technical Interview (45 min)\nFinal Interview with VP, AI Applied Solutions\nCase Studies\nNimble Gravity Applied Anthropic Practice\nAbout Nimble Gravity \nNimble Gravity is a team of outdoor enthusiasts, adrenaline seekers, and experienced growth hackers.
