National park agencies, NGOs, and community-run reserves from Argentina and Brazil to Costa Rica and Honduras rely on EarthRanger to see what is happening across their landscapes in real time: ranger patrols, wildlife tracking, sensors, and field reports brought together on one map.Setting up a site is a first step. The real work is helping a team go from having EarthRanger to relying on it every day to plan patrols, respond to incidents, and show results to the people who fund and govern their work. That is this job. \nWhat will you do? \nHelp sites succeed, not just get set up \nWork with protected areas and conservation organizations across Latin America to understand their conservation goals and shape how they use EarthRanger to reach them.\nOwn a set of sites in the region that were set up but never became active, and bring them into daily use. This is a first-year goal we will define with you.\nFollow up with sites after onboarding, spot where adoption has stalled, and coach teams through the next step: better patrol coverage, cleaner reporting, smarter use of alerts and analysis.\nAct as the regional voice of the user, feeding what sites need back to our product, documentation, and training teams. \nSupport and troubleshoot \nBe a first point of contact for user questions and field issues from the region, resolving them through our ticketing system and keeping clear records. Expect roughly half your time here at the start, shifting toward site success work as you build relationships and the region's self-serve resources grow.\nConfigure and maintain EarthRanger sites: users, event types, patrol types, maps, and integrations with trackers and sensors.\nKnow when a problem needs an engineer, and hand it over with the detail they need. \nTrain and enable \nDeliver EarthRanger training to rangers, biologists, analysts, and managers, from one-on-one coaching to multi-day workshops, in Spanish and English.\nHelp build and translate training materials, help-center articles, and short videos for the region. \nSupport national and multi-site deployments \nContribute to large rollouts across many protected areas: scoping, planning, data standards, and follow-through with government and NGO partners.\nTrack your projects and communicate status, risks, and decisions clearly to partners and the internal team. \nWhat we are looking for \nRequired \nA conservation foundation. Either hands-on work in conservation or protected areas (ranger, biologist, park or reserve staff, NGO field or program staff), or a demonstrated commitment to conservation through study, volunteering, or community projects combined with experience supporting people who use software.\nFluent in spoken and written Spanish and English.\nA track record of helping others succeed with a tool, a process, or a program: training, support, extension work, community engagement, or teaching.\nComfortable learning web and mobile software and explaining it to people who are not, and open to using AI tools every day for drafting, translating, troubleshooting, and learning. You do not need to be a programmer.\nA self-motivated remote professional with strong time-management skills: able to balance multiple projects simultaneously, structure their own daily schedule, meet deadlines, communicate proactively, and ask for help when needed.\nAble to travel within Latin America less than 10% of the year. \nBonus \nPortuguese.\nHands-on experience as a user of EarthRanger or SMART. Many sites in the region are moving from SMART to EarthRanger, and knowing how patrol and monitoring data are collected in practice helps a great deal.\nExperience with GPS trackers, camera traps, or other field monitoring technology.\nGIS skills (QGIS, ArcGIS) and comfort working with spatial data.\nExperience working with government agencies or on multi-site, national-scale programs.\nExperience facilitating workshops or building training materials.\nFamiliarity with data concepts such as spreadsheets, CSV exports, JSON, or APIs, used for troubleshooting rather than coding. \nWhy Join Nimble Gravity? \nYou'll help leading financial institutions and other clients adopt AI in meaningful ways.
