Your expertise will play a critical role for our clients in shaping data strategy, ensuring efficient data integration, storage, and accessibility while maintaining data security and compliance. \nKey Responsibilities: \nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective cloud-based data architecture solutions. \nDesign data models, data flow diagrams, and schema structures that optimize data storage, retrieval, and processing on cloud platforms. \nDesign and develop data integration strategies to consolidate data from diverse sources into a unified and coherent format. \nEvaluate and select appropriate cloud services and tools for various data-related tasks. \nWork closely with data engineers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand their needs and provide architectural guidance. \nResponsible for overseeing the successful execution of data projects and ensuring the outcomes meet business objectives and technical requirements. \nLead and mentor junior team members, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous learning. \nQualifications: \nBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. \nProven experience (10+ years) as a Data Architect or similar role, with a focus on cloud-based solutions. \nStrong expertise in Microsoft Azure including their data services such as: Data Platforms (Azure Databricks, Azure SQL Database and Azure Synapse Analytics) \nSpark Programming (Python, PySpark and SparkSQL)\nOrchestration and Automation (Azure Data Factory and Logic Apps)\nStorage (Azure Data Storage Gen2)\nEvent Processing (Kafka and Azure Event Hubs) \n\nKnowledge of data security best practices and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA). \nExcellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex technical challenges. \nStrong communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders. \nRelevant Microsoft Azure data certifications are a plus. \nAbout Nimble Gravity \nNimble Gravity is a team of outdoor enthusiasts, adrenaline seekers, and experienced growth hackers.
