In this hands-on role, you will be a key contributor in the testing and validation of our cutting-edge robotics hardware and software systems. You will work closely with our engineering team to ensure the capability, reliability and quality of our products by executing detailed test plans, documenting results, and identifying issues. This is a full-time, on-site position based in our San Francisco warehouse and office. \nResponsibilities\nPerform hands-on hardware and software tests for our robotics and automation systems.\nConduct testing based on engineering test plans, including functional, performance, and durability tests.\nAccurately record and document test results, observations, and issues, data logging with Google Sheets and other digital tools.\nCollaborate with engineers to debug and troubleshoot problems identified during testing.\nSet up, maintain, and calibrate test fixtures and equipment.\nRead and interpret electrical schematics and technical test plan documents to ensure proper test execution.\nUse and modify Python scripts to automate test procedures and analyze data.\nProvide clear and concise written and verbal communication to the engineering team on test status and findings.\nMaintain a safe and organized lab and testing environment. \nQualifications\nProven experience in a hands-on technical role, with a strong background in testing hardware and/or software systems.\nFamiliarity with Python scripting for data collection and test automation.\nStrong understanding of data logging and analysis, with proficiency in using tools like Google Sheets or similar platforms.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable using the Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Gmail).\nAbility to read and understand electrical diagrams and technical specifications.\nStrong organizational skills and attention to detail.\nA \"can-do\" attitude and a passion for hands-on problem-solving.\nWilling and able to work on-site 5 days a week in our San Francisco locations.\nAssociate's degree in a technical field or equivalent professional experience is preferred.\n\nCompensation\n$40 - $45/hr\nCulture:\nWe embrace challenges and strive to make the impossible possible each day.
