This project aims to scale a model for assessing climate\nrisks and vulnerabilities of primary healthcare facilities (PHCs) and primary schools and subsequently identifying and implementing interventions to make those facilities more resilient. Final Defects Liability Period (DLP) checks for construction works under the first phase of the CRIBS project is now due in Jigawa and Kano states in Nigeria.\nResponsibilities\nMain Responsibilities and Tasks:\nThe responsibilities and key assignments for this consultancy in relation to the CRIBS Phase II Project are as follows:\nInspect construction works implemented by contractors under Phase I\nCertify o Final Completion construction works completed by construction contractors\nUndertake any other work assigned by the Supervisor.\nDeliverables:\nThe Engineer (working in pairs) is responsible for the following deliverables.\nVisit to about 42 facilities (PHC and School) rehabilitated under CRIBS phase I in Kano and Jigawa States\n Defects List for Final Completion of facilities (PHCs and Schools) assigned to him/her 24 hours after each visit (with photographs)\nFinal Certificates of Completion of facilities (PHCs and Schools) assigned to him/her.\nFinal Report on status of facilities (PHCs and Schools) assigned to him/her including GPS coordinates, photographs, and submitted in a format to be approved by UNICEF.\nAll the above-mentioned deliverables are to be submitted on time to the Supervisor. Performance will be evaluated by the Supervisor at the end of\nthe assignment. Based on performance, the Engineer’s tenure will be extended or terminated.
