In this pivotal role, you will contribute to key financial reporting and balance sheet processes while playing an active part in continuous process improvement. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional finance teams to maintain strong internal controls, shape best practices, and drive accounting excellence.\nDay to day you will:\nReview and process general ledger entries in alignment with company policies and compliance standards.\nAssist with accounts payable activities and including invoice coding.\nComplete monthly balance sheet reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies promptly.\nSupport month-end closing activities by preparing accruals, prepayments, and accurate journal entries.\nHelp prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.\nMaintain robust internal controls and contribute to continuous improvement across accounting processes.\nWhat you'll bring:\nTertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent practical knowledge).\nDemonstrated experience in an assistant accounting or financial accounting role.\nExceptional attention to detail with proven accuracy in spotting and resolving discrepancies quickly.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills to build collaborative relationships across teams.\nStrong organisation skills to manage multiple deadlines effectively under pressure.\nA proactive, growth-minded approach with high standards of confidentiality and professional integrity.\nAdditional Information\nHow we work\nAt Nine, our flexible work options vary by role and team.
