As our iconic and emerging brands continue to evolve, we offer unique opportunities for you to bring fresh ideas, innovate, and make your mark on the future of Australian media.\nJob Description\nAs a Chris21/Workday Functional Analyst, you will play a critical role in this 12-month contract by resolving integration touchpoints between Workday, Chris21, and key third-party platforms. Reporting to the Lead Payroll Systems Analyst, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to triage system errors, optimise configurations, and drive continuous process improvements.\nDay to day you will:\nTriage and resolve integration errors between Workday, Chris21, and third-party systems.\nAnalyse integration logs, EIBs, and payload files to restore automated data flows promptly.\nManage and resolve Tier 2 and Tier 3 ServiceNow support tickets efficiently.\nPerform regular master data audits between platforms to ensure complete data synchronisation.\nTranslate business requirements into functional specs, custom reports, and configuration updates.\nExecute configuration tweaks across Workday business processes and Chris21 interface files.\nSupport system testing, upgrades, and bi-annual Workday platform releases and Chris 21 upgrades as required by the vendor.\nWhat you'll bring:\nHands-on functional configuration experience within Workday and core HCM modules.\nFunctional user experience with Chris21 and strong end-to-end payroll process knowledge.\nDemonstrated capability across the testing lifecycle, UAT, and defect resolution.\nExperience using Workday EIBs for data conversion, security frameworks, and calculated fields.\nIntermediate to advanced Excel skills combined with strong analytical problem-solving skills.\nClear communication skills with the ability to explain technical details to business teams.\nHigh level of autonomy to manage your workload and make sound configuration decisions.\nAdditional Information\nHow we work\nAt Nine, our flexible work options vary by role and team.
