You will own the full technical sales cycle-from discovery and solution design through proof-of-concept and implementation while partnering closely with Account Executives and Partner Managers to influence deal strategy and deliver real-world impact.\nThis role combines strong pre-sales ownership with post-sales collaboration, ensuring customers are not only won effectively, but set up for long-term success. You will also play a key role in building repeatable processes, technical assets, and feedback loops that help scale NinjaOne’s presence in the region.\nLocation - Hybrid/ Remote in Tokyo, Japan\nWhat You’ll be Doing\nOwn the full pre-sales technical experience for enterprise and mid-market accounts in Japan-from discovery through demo, architecture design, and proof-of-concept \nPartner closely with Account Executives and Partner Managers to align technical solutions with customer business goals \nDeliver high-impact product demonstrations and technical presentations tailored to a range of stakeholders (IT admins through to executives) \nGuide customers through evaluation, implementation planning, and best practices to accelerate time-to-value \nCollaborate with Customer Success and onboarding teams to ensure successful adoption and long-term outcomes \nSupport technical validation for RFPs/RFIs and contribute to proposal content where needed \nAct as a strategic bridge between Sales, Product, and Engineering-surfacing customer feedback, identifying gaps, and influencing future development \nBuild and maintain scalable technical assets such as demo environments, playbooks, and reusable content \nRepresent NinjaOne at customer events, partner engagements, and industry forums in Japan \nContribute to defining processes, playbooks, and best practices as part of a growing regional team \nTechnical Requirements\nStrong proficiency in Windows environments (registry, services, performance troubleshooting) \nWorking knowledge of Linux and/or macOS systems \nSolid understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, VPNs, firewalls, endpoint security) \nExperience with endpoint management, RMM tools, or ITSM platforms \nFamiliarity with scripting (e.g., PowerShell) is preferred \nComfortable working within complex IT environments and integrating with existing infrastructure \nExperience with tools such as Salesforce, Jira, or similar platforms is beneficial \nAbout You\n5+ years in a Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, or technical consulting role \nStrong technical foundation with practical experience in IT operations, systems engineering, or support environments \nAble to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior decision-makers \nCustomer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail \nComfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a high degree of ownership \nSelf-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities independently \nProven ability to build relationships and collaborate across global teams \nNative Japanese speaker with business-level English proficiency (written and spoken) \nBachelor’s degree preferred but not required \nCompensation\n This role is eligible for an annual compensation package consisting of a base salary and variable incentive compensation. The expected annual On-Target Earnings (OTE) for this position range from JPY 16,000,0000 - JPY 20,000,000 depending on experience, skills, and qualifications.
