Acts as a resource and mentor for other engineers. \nDESCRIPTION OF DUTIES\nTrain, evaluate, and optimize neural networks for execution on embedded platforms\nWork with platform engineers to meet model performance and memory constraints\nWrite scripts to facilitate neural network model development and use\nProcure and clean data necessary for training models\nEffectively communicate with other teams, especially as it relates to domain-specific knowledge, model quality, and model performance\nDocuments work according to defined processes\nProvides coaching and mentorship and acts as a resource to other engineers\nParticipates as a key contributor to the hiring process\nUp to 10% travel; domestic and international\nSUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS\n5-8+ years of professional experience as a data scientist\n3+ years of professional experience working with deep learning libraries\nFluency in Python\nPossess strong debugging and troubleshooting skills\nFamiliar with Git workflow\nExperience with C and/or C++\nExperience with embedded systems is a plus\nBS or MS in CS/Applied Mathematics/Statistics or related field\nApplicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States to be considered.
