Together, we move with agility, prioritize customer needs, and build unity through empathy, leaving a positive impact wherever we go. \nAbout the role: \nThe Manager, Global Accounting leads the day-to-day delivery of accurate, timely and US GAAP and statutory compliant accounting across multiple international entities. This role will manage and develop accountants located in different countries over time, coordinate close and reporting activities across time zones, and partners with Finance, Tax, Sales and external auditors to maintain effective accounting processes and controls. The position is suited to a hands-on people manager who has successfully led remote employees and can flex working hours when business-critical collaboration is required across regions.\nYour contribution will be: \nResponsible for accounting activities across multiple countries and time zones in a remote or distributed working environment.\nWorks closely with: Corporate Controller, CFO, Finance and Tax teams, international accountants, Sales, external auditors and cross-functional business partners.\nMentor, coach and develop accountants based in multiple countries, setting clear priorities, reviewing work, and creating consistent ways of working across the team.\nCoordinate month-end and quarter-end close activities across international entities and time zones, ensuring complete, accurate, and timely results.\nMaintain and apply US GAAP accounting policies, including revenue recognition, and escalate complex or judgmental matters to the Corporate Controller.\nReview contracts and transactions, document accounting conclusions and provide practical guidance to accountants and business partners.\nOversee reconciliations, journal entries, financial reporting and supporting schedules for assigned entities and accounting areas.\nImplement and monitor accounting controls and standard operating procedures, identifying opportunities to improve quality, efficiency and scalability.\nPartner with Sales, Tax, Finance and other functions on quote-to-cash processes, custom transactions and accounting requirements.\nLead day to day management of the audit process and ensure deadlines are met, audit requests are met and supporting documentation is prepared.\nLead a remote team through regular one-to-one meetings, team check-ins, performance feedback, development planning and clear accountability for goals.\nWork flexibly across time zones when needed for close deadlines, team meetings and critical stakeholder discussions; this may occasionally require early-morning or evening availability.\nAdapt priorities in a dynamic environment while maintaining a collaborative, service-oriented approach.\nConsistent application of US GAAP policies, controls and documented accounting procedures.\nPractical process improvements that strengthen quality, efficiency, and scalability.\nTo be successful,we think you need: \nCPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification required.\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.\nProficiency with financial systems and tools, including NetSuite and Excel.\n6 years of overall experience, including 2 years of corporate (non-public accounting), private equity portfolio company experience highly desirable.\n3-4 years of audit firm experience highly desirable.\nMinimum of 3 years of people management experience; highly desirable.\nDemonstrated experience managing accounting teams across multiple countries, including direct leadership of distributed employees.\nStrong working knowledge of US GAAP, financial reporting, revenue recognition, foreign-exchange (CTA and remeasurement), leases, lender compliance, reconciliations, close processes and internal controls. IFRS / other statutory accounting knowledge highly desirable.\nAbility to review work, coach, and mentor team members and resolve day-to-day accounting issues, with sound judgment about when to escalate complex matters.\nExperience coordinating work across cultures, legal entities and time zones, with flexibility to adjust working hours when reasonably required.\nClear written and verbal communication, including the ability to explain accounting requirements to non-finance stakeholders.\nStrong planning, prioritization, and follow-through in a remote, fast-paced environment.\nCollaborative leadership style that builds trust, accountability and inclusion across a geographically dispersed team.\nWhat’sin it for you?\nNintex has a hybrid working model, enabling us to build culture, learn, and grow together.
