We take a solutions-oriented and collaborative approach, constantly innovating our business and products. \nAbout the role: \nThe Platform Engineer is a hands-on individual contributor responsible for designing, building, and shipping capabilities of the internal developer platform and the integrations that connect engineering tools and processes. This role partners with the Engineering Manager and senior peers to turn platform priorities into reliable, well-tested implementations that measurably improve developer productivity and delivery velocity. \nYou are a skilled practitioner with a solid command of the technology stacks within your domain and broad familiarity with tooling across the wider Platform environment.\nYou own and deliver CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure workstreams end-to end with increasing autonomy, taking responsibility for moderately complex projects and exercising sound judgment in selecting methods and \napproaches.\nYou build and improve internal developer tooling in collaboration with other teams, contribute to self-service platform features, and support your team onboarding workflows \nYour contribution will be:\nYou are sufficiently skilled and experienced in Platform tools and processes to contribute to long-term programs or technologies such as secrets management, PIM, CosmosDB, Azure Key Vault, etc. (or AWS/GCP equivalents)\nYou write tools and utilities that support and integrate with delivery pipelines and you integrate telemetry where appropriate\nYou debug and fix infrastructure issues on production environments\nYou actively build, shape, and promote infrastructure architecture patterns and practices\nYou are an advocate for a Platform culture and add value by bringing the Platform perspective to all your projects\nYou contribute to the development of new functions in complex areas of Platform such as continuous integration, new infrastructure, or automated incident mitigation\nYou identify opportunities to improve the software development and delivery processes and support activities to improve them\nYou modify and improve existing development and operational procedures to make them compliant with relevant standards\nYou use appropriate Platform patterns to solve development and operational problems\nYou start each project with security in mind and make sure that security is built into the design, implementation, and relevant processes and practices\nRequired Technical Expertise: \nIntegration Engineering & Cloud-Native \nDesigning and building integrations across engineering tools (SCM, CI/CD, ticketing, observability, security scanners) via APIs, webhooks, and event-driven patterns. \nGitOps and Infrastructure as Code (ArgoCD, Terraform); Kubernetes and cloud-native application design; experience operating platforms on Azure and/or AWS. \nAI-Augmented Development \nDemonstrated, daily use of AI coding assistants (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot or equivalent) and agentic workflows to accelerate delivery - able to show concrete examples. \nComfort designing prompts, building small agents/automations, and embedding AI into team workflows. \nTo be successful,we think you need: \nBachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related technical field; or equivalent combination of education and experience2+ years of professional experience in Platform, infrastructure engineering, or related field\nHands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)\nExperience with infrastructure as code and automation tools\nUnderstanding of CI/CD pipelines and Platform practices\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nRelevant certifications (e.g., Azure Platform Engineer Expert, AWS Certified Platform Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator)\nWhat’sin it for you? \nNintex has a hybrid working model, enabling us to build culture, learn, and grow together.
