Together, we move with agility, prioritize customer needs, and build unity through empathy, leaving a positive impact wherever we go.\nAbout the role: \nThe Senior HR Generalist provides experienced, on-the-ground Human Resources support, with a strong focus on execution excellence, employee experience, and regional compliance. \nThis role acts as the primary HR presence for employees and managers, ensuring effective delivery of employee lifecycle activities, immigration coordination, and people programs, while operating under the direction and governance of the HR Manager. \nStrategic decisions, employee relations outcomes, and legal accountability remain with the HR Manager. \nYour contribution will be: \nOwn and execute end-to-end employee lifecycle activities for AMER employees, including onboarding, offboarding, transfers, promotions, and employment status changes. \nSupport delivery of Nintex’s onboarding and induction programs across AMER, ensuring a consistent and locally compliant employee experience. \nSupport compliance with federal, state/provincial, and local employment legislation across AMER, partnering with Senior HR Partners and Legal as required. \nProvide visible, accessible HR support to employees and managers, including regular in-person and virtual engagement. \nAct as a trusted advisor to managers on routine employee relations, performance, policy interpretation, and employee experience matters. \nSupport senior HR and business leaders in implementing and delivering AMER engagement initiatives informed by Culture Amp survey results. \nManage set up and support for exit interviews via CultureAmp. \nBuild and support the roll out of Regional policies and templates. \nPartnering with HR Services team to ensure that HRIS reports, internal resources and platforms for employees, managers and HR are up to date and accurateincluding Zendesk articles and Sharepoint. \nAdminister and provide guidance on country specific leave policies and entitlements, including benefit offerings and perks. \nCoordinate workplace accommodation processes, including documentation, tracking, stakeholder coordination, and implementation support. \nSupport employee relations matters by gathering information, preparing documentation, and ensuring process adherence, escalating sensitive, high-risk, or outcome-driven decisions to the Senior HR partners. \nProvide Tier 1 and 2 support for employee and manager HR queries, escalating complex matters as appropriate. \nAct as the primary on-the-ground coordinator for immigration and work authorization matters, including visas, permits, renewals, and extensions. \nLiaise closely with employees, managers, and external immigration advisors to ensure timely, compliant processing. \nMaintain accurate tracking of visa status, expiry dates, and documentation, flagging risks or delays early to leadership \nProvide employees with clear guidance on immigration processes while escalating complex, high-risk, or exceptional cases for decision-making. \nPartner with Regional Payroll contacts to support and validate HR inputs into payroll files. \nSupport delivery of Nintex’s Learning and Development programs. \nProject management and support of people initiatives and projects, including managing the annual program calendar with AMER employees. \nProvide coordination and operational support for AMER People programs and projects. \nContribute to continuous improvement of HR processes, documentation, and employee experience across the region. \nReinforce clear escalation pathways and ways of working for managers, particularly for performance, conduct, and sensitive people matters. \nTo be successful,we think you need: \n2 - 4 years+ experience in a similar HR position, ideally in a global Software or SAAS company \nQualifications in Human Resources, Business, or relevant degree/certifications with working knowledge of best HR practices. \nExperience or exposure with the US and Canada \nThis role is an individual contributor position. On target compensation refers to the base salary and applicable variable target for this role. The range is an estimate, base pay will ultimately be decided at the offer stage, based on an individual candidate's skills and experience aligned with the needs of the role. Base pay may vary based on several factors including geographic location, role specific qualifications, and seniority.
