This position requires an analytical mindset, understanding of procurement operations (including third party), a commitment to fostering a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and transparency.\nEssential Functions\nServe as a functional subject matter expert for Supply Chain and S2P solutions, including SAP Ariba and related integrated applications.\nProvide day-to-day support for system users, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate resolution with internal IT teams and external vendors.\nMonitor system performance, identify opportunities for optimization, and recommend process improvements.\nSupport application upgrades, releases, testing activities, and deployment efforts.\nDevelop and maintain system documentation, training materials, and user guides.\nProvides guidance and recommendations to the Product Owner regarding system enhancements, issue resolution, and process improvements\nParticipate in the testing, rollout, and documentation of new or upgraded supply chain applications; verify outputs, troubleshoot defects, and train end users\nGovern supplier, material, commodity, purchasing, and organizational master data within Supply Chain systems.\nCoordinate data flows between procurement, inventory, logistics, and supplier-relation systems to ensure timely and accurate reporting of purchase orders, inventory levels, and supplier scorecards\nSupport digital transformation and automation efforts for all supply chain applications\nRespond promptly to system disruptions or user inquiries, ensuring minimal impact on supply chain operations\nDemonstrate a comprehensive understanding of procurement and supply chain solutions and stays up to date with industry trends and best practices\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives that enhance reporting accuracy, usability, and accessibility\nProvide accurate and timely supply chain reporting required to support enterprise strategic planning, as well as execute on day-to-day operations\nSupport internal and external audits by providing necessary data and performance documentation.\nCommunicate user requirements, system issues, and enhancement requests to the IT team, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and data governance standards.\nEstablish and maintain strong relationships with IT, Procurement, Warehouse, and Finance teams for knowledge sharing and continual system optimization.\nRequired Qualifications For Position\nAssociate's Degree Business Analytics, Data Science, Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, or a related field.\n1-3 years data analytics, performance management, or business intelligence roles, with a strong preference for Supply Chain domain exposure.\nExcellent communication, strong interpersonal and leadership skills.\nKnowledge and experience in procurement, category management, warehouse/inventory management, or related function\nAbility to identify challenges and propose creative solutions\nFamiliarity with data governance principles, master data management, and system validation practices.\nExperience working with enterprise systems such as SAP, Ariba, Coupa, or similar tools.\nDrivers License\nPreferred Additional Qualifications for Position\nBachelor's Degree\nPhysical Demands\nStanding - Frequently\nWalking - Frequently\nSitting - Frequently\nLifting - Rarely\nCarrying - Rarely\nPushing - Rarely\nPulling - Rarely\nClimbing - Rarely\nBalancing - Rarely\nStooping - Rarely\nKneeling - Rarely\nCrouching - Rarely\nCrawling - Rarely\nReaching - Rarely\nHandling - Rarely\nGrasping - Rarely\nFeeling - Rarely\nTalking - Frequently\nHearing - Frequently\nRepetitive Motions - Rarely\nEye/Hand/Foot Coordination - Rarely\nThe preceding description is not designed to be a complete list of all duties and responsibilities required of the position.\nAs a public utility, NiSource provides essential services to customers 24/7.
